Fin wanted to investigate the noise, but he also had to help Robin. After contemplating for a minute, he decided to stay with Robin and take a look at his bleeding leg.
Turning his head, Fin could see a figure crawling towards him. At first he was freaked out, then he realized that it was probably a survivor in need of help. He gently let Robin sit down, then limped to the figure.
Dara pulled out her first aid kit. She disinfected Robin's wound and stitched it up before covering it with gauze. "You should be walking eventually," she promised with an awkward smile. "I mean, sooner than later. Sorry."
Mihaka sat down by a tree, she couldn't go any farther.
"I-I hope so… I feel so helpless. H-how am I supposed to help you guys survive? There's no way I'll survive out here…" Robin's eyes welled up with tears and he looked away, not able to face Dara.
Fin approached the strange person, now realizing that it was a teenage girl. He bent down. “Are you okay? Do you need help?” (This probably isn’t a good place to leave, but I have to go. I’ll be back in a half hour or so, maybe.)
Dara rolled her eyes involuntarily. "You wouldn't be able to help anyway." Realizing what she'd said, she backtracked. "What I mean is. We don't mind helping you. Plus, we shouldn't be here too long. We'll build a nice bonfire to attract planes. Burn down the whole island if we have to. We're going to survive."
"What did you say?" Mihaka asked in her language, unsure if this man was friend or foe. She didn't understand him, and he probably didn't understand her.
(I'm always late!)
"F-fire?" Robin was afraid of fire, now for two reasons. The fear had started when he had a house fire a while ago, which coincidentally also landed him on an island. The fear was now fortified by seeing the plane burning to the ground.
Celestia bit her lip. She could see blurry figures up ahead, but she wasn’t sure if they were friendly or not. Still, she managed to collect herself and walk towards the figures.
"Sure, like in Lord of the Flies," she replied, not picking up on his fear. "Well, not like Lord of the Flies. More controlled. And we're not savages."
Robin's heart raced. He didn't want to admit his fear of fire, since it seemed to be the only way they could survive, but he also didn't want to have a panic attack when one was lit.
(I'm always late!)
(You’re good!)
"So, are you still in pain anywhere at all?" she asked, coughing into her elbow.
Mihaka tried to stifle another yell. She failed. She was covered in blood, from head to toe, in pain.
"Er, my head hurts. Is… is that bad?" The left side of Robin's head was bloody, and he had patches of soot everywhere.
"Maybe," she said. "Here, follow my finger." She performed the concussion test, watching his pupils intently. His eyes were responsive and he didn't see too confused. The blood leaving his head was much more concerning than the concussion, if there was one. She disinfected the side of his head and wrapped it in gauze. "Better?"
Robin nodded, feeling the gauze gingerly. "Where did Fin go?"
Meanwhile, Mihaka was trying to strangle anybody who was in arms reach.
(We need Fin!)
(hELLO?)
(I'm here but like you said we need Fin or Dara)
(Appears heroically Or perhaps you need a new character!)
