"There's me!" Wendi raised her hand in the air.

“I heard cult?” Jayden asked, appearing behind… something.

"We welcome anyone," Cira said, crossing her arms and shifting her weight onto her left foot, "A lot of us don't fit into the image that our parents have set for us."

"Great, cults," Olivers said. "Is there any gods of rejection that we could worship?"

"Is there a god of rejection?" Wendi was genuinely curious.

"Uh…" Riley wracked her brains. "I'm pretty sure there's no god of rejection. The closest I can think of is that nymph. The one who got rejected by Narcissus and now is cursed to repeat everything?"

"Do you know the nymphs name?" Wendi looked at Riley.

“Echo?”

"It's Echo… Echo… Echo…" Cira replied, mocking the sound of an echo.

"Cool," Wendi looked at Cira with awe.

"Yeah…" Riley replied. "That sounds right. But she's a nymph, not a goddess. I'm not even sure if she's still alive."

Tessa laughed. "You guys are amazing. I love y'all already."

"She's not," Oliver said. He knew from some of his siblings.

"That's why it's a cult," Cira responded.

"We should have a chant!" Wendi shouted out, "Do cults have chants?"

"I'm pretty sure cults have chants,"

"Then let's make one!" Wendi felt like a little girl again, learning all about her people's legends and past. It was exhilarating.

Tessa just stood there, silently dying of laughter.

"You can make one," Oliver said. "If I even tried it would just be the same thing over and over,"

"Not me!" Wendi responded, "I wouldn't know what to say."

"Well, then…" he looked at the group and realized he was the only guy. He pointed at Cira. "You can do it,"

"English? Or do you want me to mix it up and put it in Latin?" Cira asked, accepting the challenge.

"You know Latin?" Wendi looked at Cira.
