"I don't know much about the quest aside from the fact that we're prophesied to go on it," Lewis admitted, "Honestly, the gods and all things of the immortals couldn't be more obscure. They may be immortal, but they for sure have human flaws, and they can never be straight to the point when giving us advice, or even a prophecy."
"Um, if you wanna be alone I could go," she said sitting up.
Siren smiling said,"Should I leave?"
"If you want to," Miles said, looking at Siren. He turned back to Ari, still waiting for her to answer.
"HELLO? ARI WAKE UP!!!" Siren yelled at Ari "To loud?" she asked.
"I just wish everything right now was simpler. I understand what you're saying, but…"
"She's just thinking, Siren," Miles said. "And yeah, just a little too loud."
"Oops, I should go now." (Should Siren bump into Perth?)
"I do too," Lewis agreed, "I think it's important to be straightforward, and as a god, you would think by showing kindness and expressing what you want clearly, you would get a bit more of a following."
(I have to go. Goodnight!)
(bye gtg for like 12 or 19 hours.)
Ari flinched back as Siren yelled, her hand on the dagger under her bed. Then she realized that it was just Siren. They're not here Ari. You're safe. You're safe. Thankfully she hadn't pulled it up, so Siren hadn't seen it. As Siren left, Arianna turned to Miles. "I–I–I…………………" She couldn't say anything. Tears sprang to her eyes.
Miles noticed Ari's hand on something under her bed. He looked up at her. "Ari," he said. "what's in your hand?"
Ari let go of the knife, letting it clatter to the floor. "My foster parents were abusive. It's hard to remember that they're not here." Ari said, trying not to cry but tears silently streaming down her cheeks.
Miles' eyes widened at the knife. "So you keep a knife under your bed?" he questioned. He got off the bed and picked up the knife. "Ari, they're not here. No-one will hurt you now."
Viva headed over toward the Poseidon cabin. She hadn't seen Ari for a while and wanted to check up on her. She knocked on the door hesitantly. She'd never been inside the Poseidon cabin before.
Miles heard another knock at the door. "It's open," he said, repeating Ari's words.
Viva heard Miles voice and had a mini-freakout before opening the door and stepping through.
"Hey. What's up?" she asked, doing her best to be casual.
Miles looked to see who it was, then looked back at Ari the second he saw it was Viva. "Nothing much," he said. "Just failing at supporting Ari. Again."
"I'm sure you're not failing at anything!" Viva responded as she went over to Ari.
"Don't place any bets," Miles said, chuckling. He wanted to get out of there. "Anyway… Capture the Flag is starting soon, so we'd better get over there,"
Siren was running to the area for capture the flag, lots of big people were there and she was pretty much the only 'kid' playing capture the flag.
