Viva saw Miles in the distance as she waited for Lewis to respond. She hoped he was ok after whatever horrible vision Eleos had shown him.

Miles sat at the dock, thinking over what Eleos had shown him. He was still shaken over it. He had seen his worst nightmare, just like he assumed everyone else did. He had stood in front of a large monster, with a broken sword in his hand and everyone he had ever known lying dead on the ground around him. He was alone. But, then it changed to something worse. He stood alone in somewhere dark, with a field of light around him. And in that light, everyone he knew stood, talking and laughing with each other. He tried to get their attention, but it was like he was invisible. He started to walk to the edge of the darkness, but there was something stopping him from leaving. Then he gave up, knowing that they'd probably be better off without him.
Miles shook the thought out of his head and squeezed his eyes shut, attempting to think of anything else.
Viva saw Miles put his head in his hands and vowed to go check on him after she had spoken to Lewis. She knew she should stay away from him, but she couldn't help wanting to make sure he had survived the vision.
(I've gotta go to bed, see ya!)
(Guys good news! School got cancelled because of ice and snow!)
(I'm here too.)
(School got cancelled because the Slitheen invaded it.)
(?)
(?)
(Doctor Who referance.)
(huh?)
(huh?)
(Slitheen? Listen, anyone who has not seen Who must now go and binge.)
(Guys good news! School got cancelled because of ice and snow!)
(I wish we got snow. We got snow this year (first time in a really long time), and we were out for the whole week after winter break because it snowed 2 inches and everyone panicked.)
"I can tell you're hesitant," Lewis said, "So I can go first, if you'd like."
He ran his fingers through his still-soaked raven hair and let out a deep sigh. The truth was, he didn't want to talk about it either, but he wasn't going to let her know.
"Well… in my vision, all of you were dead," he started, unsure if he should include anything about his deep insecurity. He asked Viva if she wanted to hear more.

(lucky people. where i live, it has never snowed. I have seen snow twice in my life and both times it was because i had travelled somehwere else)
"Keep going," Viva told Lewis gently. "It'll help to talk about it." Lewis looked miserable as he recalled the vision, but Viva was certain that getting it off his chest would help him.
"Um… okay…" Lewis took a deep breath and continued. "I didn't see your bodies- just the funeral pyres draped over them, but I knew it was you, and I know whatever happened was my fault. It was because… because I was in some position to protect everyone, but I failed. In the vision, after the pyres burned away, Chiron pulled me aside to speak to me, and he said things like he never should have sent me on the quest." Lewis was still holding back, not sure he wanted to really reveal the fear of his in its entirety.
Viva looked at Lewis. "Anything else?" she asked. There was no point comforting him until she knew the entirety of the vision
"No," Lewis lied. He looked away, hoping she wouldn't be able to catch his tells.
"Okay," Viva replied gently. She wouldn't force him to talk about whatever else had transpired.
She stopped walking and looked Lewis in the eyes. "Lewis, I can't promise that all of us is going to make it through this quest alive. But I know that if it does happen, you will have done everything you can to try and prevent it. Lewis, you may not have a massive arsenal of auto-wins up your sleeve, but you are essential to this quest. The strength of mind and heart, intelligence, care." She took a step closer to him. "Those are the things that make a great demigod and by the gods Lewis you have all of them. So, never say you aren't worthy to be on this quest. You ARE."
Feeling a little awkward after her speech, she took a step back from Lewis and dropped her eyes.
Lewis felt as if he'd been struck in the heart. Viva was right, for sure, but he had a hard time believing it. He was trembling a little.
"I'm glad you think so. And if it comes down to it, I'll make sure if anyone has to die, that it's me, and none of you. I won't let my fears come to pass."

Perth headed back to her cabin.
“I’m gonna go to my cabin.” She muttered to a random boy, hoping he would pass the message on. When she got there she laid on her bed and sighed.
“Is everyone going through this?” She asked herself out loud, “or is there something about me… like maybe I’m not actually real.”

Viva gave Lewis a small smile, as she saw Perth enter the Zeus cabin in the distance. "So…" she murmured. "I guess it's my turn now…" Viva cleared her dry throat as she prepared to tell Lewis about her curse, her vision and her fear.
"I-I don't really know how to start…"
"Take your time," Lewis said gently, "You don't have to share every last detail."
