(Yeah, I think what we need to do concerning the prophecy is decide who the enemy is mainly, and the deadline for the quest, if it's time-sensitive. As for quest party members, I think that could be a little looser, and the unclaimed kids in this RP should probably get claimed before then.)
(Yeah probably. I’ve got a plan for Miles’ claiming so I’ll do it soon)
(so anyone got an idea for the prophecy?)
(not really. maybe the enemy could be nyx and her evil children? just so its not the exact same as any in the books? idk tho…)
(I really like that idea. I'm doing a little research, and it could be really interesting because some of Nyx's children were benevolent, too.)
(Okay, I have an idea based off of that. So… Nyx is the mother of the Oneiroi, primordial deities personifying dreams (not good or bad in particular from what I understand). Since the understanding of what they were is kind of loose, we could play around with the idea, and maybe Oneiroi start appearing as nightmares in particular. This starts affecting the mortal world, too, but the mortals don't know what's going on. There's just mass fear and panic, and the world maybe looks like it could fall into war. That's just the basis for an idea, and you guys don't have to like it, it's really just a suggestion, and I'm sorry if I didn't explain it very well.)
(That's a great idea! I love it!)
(Thanks! We can work out the kinks as we get there, if that's what everyone wants to do.)
(so everyone try to think of good things we could use for the prophecy and we could put it together for the prophecy and BOOM! We have our prophecy!)
(Oh yeah, we still need the actual prophecy)
(Kay so guys, I am going on a trip tomorrow and will be coming back on Sunday, so I will not be back on till then. If you need Ari then use her.)
(is this good for the prophecy? The one born of darkness shall bring the light.)
(@becfromthedead that idea sounds AWESOME!! Meow146, that sounds good for the prophecy, but who's it referring to?)
(@becfromthedead that idea sounds AWESOME!! Meow146, that sounds good for the prophecy, but who's it referring to?)
(Mabey a child of Hades? We could find out on our way through the story)
(maybe in a rhyming couplet with "the one born of darkness shall bring the light" could be something about someone who would "win the fight" or something. idk i'm bad at this thing but i really like urs @Meow146. i also love the nightmares idea)
(Perhaps: "The one born of darkness shall bring the light," then: "One of sun will win the fight," (Apollo)? Then "Brains will conquer brawn," (Athena) and, "Beauty will rise at dawn" (Aphrodite) "Magic will quench the fire," (Hecate) "A hunter of eternity will arrive when times are dire" (Hunter of Artemis) "The rage of a wind storm shall rage" (Zeus) "The friend of their foe will turn the page" (Hades) "One birthed of water will take charge," (Poseidon) "Another sun will shine on the barge," (Apollo) "Speak will be their only hope" (Aphrodite) "First they save a craftsman of young hands who mopes" (Hephaestus) "The sun will shine once more" (Apollo) "All are needed to open the door"
(Rest of the prophecy): "If not completed be the end of the year,
The world that you find to be so dear,
Will be filled with chaos and conflict,
It will be stopped, only if the right ones are picked.
They will face the mother of dreams,
Stopping her by any means.
If the time passes and she survives,
The world in war will then arise."
This is my character.
Galvyn Le Fey.
Son of Hecate.
Male.
18 years old
9 years in camp half blood
Tall, lean, but defined and well muscled from training and past quest. Skin has a nice fair tone with some tanning and pinkness. Eyes are mismatched. The right mystifying twilight, the other deep amber. His hair is choppy and mane-like. It falls to his shoulders and over his right eye a bit. His face is long and narrow, possessing prominent cheekbones complimented by his celestial nose. Galvyn's hair is chocolate brown with natural, coppery, scarlet highlights in his bangs. He always wears a kilt with knee high boots. On his top, over the orange CHB shirt, a jacket vest. And around his neck a crossroads pendant given to him as a small infant by Hecate.
Galvyn is a very flip a coin type of character. Anyway the wind blows, he goes. His peers at CHB often question whether he has any morals or if he just plain doesn't give a shit. Well, yes, and no. You see Galvyn's sanity suffers because of his gifts. One in particular. Foresight. The ability to see the future (far and near) has it's price and takes it's toll. You will all surely find out more about his abilities, personality and history as the story progresses. (BTW I'm going to need a little foresight every now and then to make conversations involving Galvyn, work with his ability, thank you)
Le Fey's weapon is a split blade Greek sword with a forward claw hilt. The blade is half selenian silver and half celestial bronze. The weapon is christened "Nevermist"
Other: Scotish accent, descendent of Morgana Le Fey, gingerale-o-holic.
Then change the part of "Magic will quench the fire," to "Two of magic will quench the fire" since you joined
(The prophecy sounds great, @LeafyLemur!!! And I think it's just vague enough that we can determine the action as we go.)
(GREAT JOB ONl THE PROPHECY! Should we wait for @Natasha to come back?)
