(No problem. :p)
The flattery was working. “Help with what?” Kari asked, smiling proudly.

The flattery was working. “Help with what?” Kari asked, smiling proudly.
Caleb smiled. She was starting to fall for it, but it seemed it would take a little more to convince her. "Well, I'm sure you know about the strange new boy that was inside earlier." Caleb started. "Adrik has taken quite a liking to him, and well we-" He paused here to gesture to himself and Jaxen "-couldn't help but think of you. Wouldn't want him to replace you as the King's favorite." He leaned toward her conspiratorially. "So we have devised a plan, but it will require your help. Are you in?"
Dang he’s good at this. Jaxen thought, fidgeting with his thumbs. After a moment of silence, Kari nodded, “I’m in.”
Caleb straightened immediately. "That's wonderful, my dear." He offered her a hand and grabbed Jaxen with his other hand. "Now let your two Princes take you to your King."
(Dude actually though.
Caleb is overqualified. ._.)
Kari smirked and took his hand.
(Heh. :) )
Caleb led Jaxen and Kari through the crowds into the host club room. Stopping in front of Adrik and Alex. "Here you are, my lady. Now, we would love to stay, but Jaxen and I have a previous appointment." Caleb stared longingly at the cake and pile of sweets just barely visible in the next music room.
Alex waved at the new girl. Yeah he had no idea what he was doing.
Adrik bowed down in front of Kari, a smirk spread across his face.
"My princess, I would like for you to meet one of our newest hosts," He kissed the back of her hand, standing up and gesturing to Alex, "We would like you to help us find his host type!" He announced, pulling a chair out for her.
Kari took a seat.
Jaxen nudged Caleb, “Can we have cake now?”
Alex wondered what he should do. He eventually went for what he would normally do when meeting new people. Other than running away, "Hello, my name is Alex. And who might you be?"
He added on, "My fair lady."
“Kari.” Kari smiled, she thought this new kid was pretty sweet.
Alex smiled back, "It is my pleasure to meet you Kari. How are you this fine day?"
He had no clue where this came from. Maybe reading all those books was a good idea.
(Omg, same Alex. XD)
“I’m doing splendid.” Kari grinned, “And you?”
(XD)
Alex was pleased he was doing so well, "I'm doing exceptionally well. Has the fine lady done anything interesting this week? Or must I tell about my dull living."
Seriously where did this come from?
“Do tell about your ‘dull’ living.” Kari chirped.
Alex thought for a second, "Oh where do I begin? When I first began at Ouran? Or when my mother died."
He started tearing up at the mention of his mother. He tried to hold it in, nope not working. He normally turned to his mother for help with these things, now she wasn't here and he was stuck. In a position, a real bad one at that.
“Are you.. crying..?”
Alex looked away as he rubbed his eyes, "I'm not. Just have something in my eye. That's liquidy."
And whatever being was helping him, was now gone.
“Oh, okay. Well start with when you first began Ouran.”
Alex smiled at the memory, "That was quite the day. I had never seen a school such as this. Or the food, I didn't know what half of the items on the menu were. I come from a poor family, I got in because of a scholarship."
“You came from a what?” Kari asked, blinking in surprise.
Alex cleared his throat, "Um, I live in the poor section of town. My father works two jobs so I don't have to, and I can focus on my schooling. He was so happy when I got into Ouran."
“Wait wait wait. You’re a commoner?” Kari gasped.
Alex nodded a faint blush rising on his cheeks, "Yeah."
“Oh. Continue.” Kari nodded.
