Nice, wholesome, happy roleplay.

This is sort of a fun happy-go-lucky roleplay that takes place with a couple friends senior year of high school. I have no clue where I want this roleplay to go, so bring your creativity! (I’m sorta craving a bittersweet ending where they graduate, but, y’know, we’ll see where it goes).

The one thing— our characters will know each other and be essentially good friends. They all got stuck in the same club freshman year, and never left. This club meets each morning to “hang out,” and the only thing the school ever has in its mini fridge is orange juice.
There’s one teacher that usually oversees this club, but since he trusts the kids, he’s rarely seen. The kids should have a relatively good relationship with him, unless you want otherwise.

Have fun! Although the storyline may seem serious, mess around! Twist it! It’s your story, too.
Cursing is ok, just please omit insulting another writer.
Please be active. I know sometimes it’s difficult, and I’ll allow absences, but I want to have a successful roleplay.
Romance is ok, just please omit from writing R-rated content.
Lastly, don’t take this too seriously. I’m just here to mess around, honestly :D

Personality: Arlo is often called courageous or brave, but many see it as recklessness or no sense of caution. He just lives his life by the quote “yolo,” trying to be carefree. Many believe it's irresponsible, but Arlo is generally accepted as a nice and reliable person. Although, his clock is roughly always on island time. He is a perfect extrovert as well, always willing to meet and interact with new people
Appearance: Arlo’s skin is a light mocha color, clear of freckles or different pigment. His eyes are a striking blue and he’s always wearing a genuine smile. His build is skinnier than most, however his muscles are clearly defined. He stands at about 5’11” and holds himself high with a sense of confidence. Arlo has deep black hair that is never styled, so it goes wherever it wants. It’s shaved on the sides and much longer on the top, often falling into his eyes.
Skills: Anything to do with mechanics / Socializing / Public speaking / Playing guitar
Other: Arlo’s clothing style consists of jeans that are ripped unintentionally and loose shirts that allow him freedom when working. He’s never really concerned about his clothing. At work, he has to wear a uniform anyway, so he can’t be bothered. In addition, Arlo has a black German shepherd named Stitch, who is only a year old.

Backstory: Arlo lost his parents at a young age, so he and his sister were to live with his grandparents for the majority of their life. He took over taking care of all of them when he was about 11, still taking care of them to this day.

Ethnicity: He's of British descent. Caucasian

Probable GPA: 3.6-3.8

Personality: Jackson is what many people would call a "social butterfly". He's willing to talk to almost anyone about almost anything. He doesn't care if the person is "popular" or not. If he thinks they're worth talking to, he'll do it. Most people describe Jackson's almost unwavering good attitude to be "too good to be true", resulting in him being called fake by some of his classmates. At one point in the year, a rumour had gone around about him *ahem* doing the do with a freshmen boy. It really helped showcase another side of Jackson: His bad side.

Once someone gets on his bad side, there's almost no going back. It takes a special type of screw-up to get on his bad side, so just him being angry with you won't do it. Once someone is on his bad side, he will do all he can to make sure every second that that person is miserable. He will hold a grudge so tight that you could practically call it his lover. He will spit venom at that person with every word that escapes his lips. But Jackson isn't the type to flat out insult someone. Rather, he will kill them with kindness. He will make them think he likes them until they realize it was nothing but slow poison.

Appearance: His hair is light brown and short with platinum blonde tips. He wears his hair curtained and it is always kind of messy. His skin is a very pale, alabaster colour. He gets sunburn semi-easily so he doesn't like staying the sun too long without having sunscreen on. His limbs are thin just like the rest of Jackson's body and he has almost no muscling except for some light muscling on his chest. He stands at around 5'9". He has light freckles across his nose that slightly dust onto his cheeks as well. His eyes are large, almond-shaped and amber.

Other (Optional): His clothing style usually consists of loose hoodies and shorts. He always has a pair of circular sunglasses with him. His favourite food is key lime pie and his favourite colour is orchid. He has two pet hamsters that he named Chunks and Gundam.

Backstory (Optional): When Jackson was only two years old, his parents had gotten divorced and split up, his father had gained custody of him. He keeps in touch with both, but it practically drives him insane. It's nothing but his father down talking his mother and vice versa. It had driven him to a point of nearly no words. Not even in school. He was always the quiet kid who sat in the corner and twiddled their thumbs. He had been that way until the beginning of freshmen year. That's where everything had changed. He had been forced to apply for an engineering club by his father because it was "what was best for his future", but Jackson had accidentally signed up for a different club entirely. He was going to resign from the club and actually join the engineering club, but he didn't really want to. He was making friends from his mistake. He stayed in the club ever since.
