The two men, who's concept of time were horrible, sprung out of their seats and went to draw their sword. But Anto decided now was a good time to intervene. Grabbing the closest empty chair, he lunged forward and smashed it over one of the men's head, breaking it in the process and sending the man crumpling to the floor. Before the other even had time to react, Anto slammed his foot as hard as he could into his knee and followed up with a punch to the jaw, dropping that guy as well.

Kasady stared up at the three of them with new-found fear, still laying on the seat that Fane had tipped over.

"As I said before," Parris repeated smoothly, giving his two crewmembers pleased looks, "I think your sitting at the wrong table, Kasady."

The red-haired woman scrambled to her feet and hustled out of the bar, muttering curses the entire way.

"Take a seat," the Captain told Anthony and Fane, gesturing at the now empty chairs as he righted the one previously occupied by Kasady.

((here you go, Mr. Lonely))

Fane chuckled merrily, pleased with Anto's quick thinking and mentally squealing It actually worked! Indeed, she had no idea the captain would actually fall, or if she'd be in the clear from the two brutes. But things seemingly fell into place, first with the captain tipping back with the chair and Anto reacting when he did.

She probably looked insane to the other pirates, but that was how she wanted to come across to them. No one of unstable mind would hesitate to go the extra mile when lashing out—or even hesitate to lash out in general. That made her seem unpredictable, and she wanted it to be like that.

Fane took up a seat next to Parris, tilting her chair back so she could plant her boots on the table and tuck her arms behind her head, keeping a lazy smirk on her lips and a delightful gleam in her eyes.

Anto sat down in the seat across from her, his back to the rest of the bar as he passed her a look. They had became so in tune it was almost like reading a book: Please calm down. My legs can't take much more of this.

Parris caught the look and spoke in a low voice, mainly to Fane, "We've made a good enough impression to get us by. Time to calm down and observe. You do too much and the rest of the crews will all turn on us."

@ElderGod-kirky group

She shrugged, seemingly unconcerned, but she shot Anto a look. I'm sorry. She deserve it. Fane did relax some, but not in a way that made it obvious to the other pirates. She still had the look, but she was more lounging now than ready to spring into action. Not many would be able to determine the difference, but she was sure Anto, by now, could easily pick out the changes in her demeanor.

"PARRIS!" a deep voice boomed from the entrance to the bar, gathering everyone's attention like a net catches fish. "You motherfucker!"

The man had the height to rival Hughs, with hand that looked like they could envelope Anthony's entire head easily. Parris stood up with a wide grin, stepping forward and jabbing the man in the gut, looking like a schoolboy meeting a friend in the park. "The fuck have you been eating, man? You're fat head is nearly touching the ceiling."
"Slack crewmembers," the man said, not even flinching at the blow as he turned and studied Anthony and Fane with sharp brown eyes. They portrayed a surprising amount of intelligence for a pirate. "Who are the midgets?"
"Ah, yeah," Parris said sheepishly, putting a hand on Anthony's shoulder. "This right here is Anto and the one across from him is Fane. I wanted to take only one, but the fuckers have been attached at the hip since they've met." He turned back to his crew and explained, "This is Captain Johnethan Ravelle, owner of the Regal Bitch."
Anto glanced up at the guy and nodded. "Charming name."
Two people emerged from behind Ravelle, a man and a woman. The man was a carbon copy of every other pirate in the place, but the woman looked like this:

She eyed Anthony with a special gleam in her eyes, smiling slightly. Her attraction to the prince was so obvious it would be a stretch to assume the whole bar noticed it. Except for, of course, Anto. Him, the idiot he was, didn't notice a thing, too invested on evesdropping on the two captain's conversation to pay any attention to the woman.
"Sit down, sit down," Parris said, gesturing to the table, "We have three more chairs." He looked down at the one Anto had broken and scrunched up his nose. "Okay, two."
"I'll stand," the woman said, choosing to fold her arms over the back of Anthony's chair and lean over him. A lock of her blonde hair fell into his face and he batted it away, looking like a displeased child for a moment.

(Know what? I'mma do it again)
('Cause I'm unapologetically impatient)

Fane's lips tipped up when she saw the captains interacting, finding it amusing. But then her eyes landed on the woman, who was so clearly into Anto it made her want to curl her nose in disgust. And then she all too eagerly offered to stand next to Anto, and now that disgust morphed into veiled displeasure. She wouldn't call it jealousy, per se—at least not yet. It was more like upset with the woman with being clearly eager.

Points to Anto for being amazingly unaware.

"I saw what you did to Kasady and her boys," Ravelle said to the two nobles, giving them an approving nod. "Y'all be some nasty pieces of work." He turned to Parris again. "Where do you find people like this? Seems like every time a pirate's meeting arises you always got the meanest dogs."

"Well, Fane's been on my crew for years," Parris said, gesturing over to his first mate. "You've seen her from the last three times I've come here. Anto, however, we had to fish his ass out of the sea. He'd survived a hurricane and had been floating around for a few days before we found him. His legs were busted up real good, too. Still fought off a pack of marauders barely a week after the stitches went in, too."

The woman seemed pleased after Parris was done bragging about young man, sliding in a little closer and beginning to wrap her arms around his shoulders. Now even Anto noticed what was going on. He stood up from his seat, hiding a wince as he stepped aside and gestured to it.

"How about you have my seat? You've probably been standing much longer than I have," Anthony said, walking over to Fane's side and leaning against her slightly.

Fane didn't seem all that bothered by Anto leaning on her. She simply shifted her weight towards him to support his weight and watched the happenings unfold. Nothing on her now bored face betrayed anything she might feel about the woman trying to hit on Anto, or about him blatantly rejecting her. "I'd say he's more stubborn than anything, but…" she shrugged, glancing up at him with a knowing look in her eyes.

"Or just stupid, " the woman grumbled, crossing her arms over her chest as she sat down int eh chair previously occupied by Anthony.

"Oh, don't act like that, Mirrim," Ravelle said, rolling his eyes. "Jus' 'cause the boy already has hisself a girl don't mean you get to insult 'em."

Her face crumpled up into a pout, but didn't respond. Parris flicked an amused look over the Fane, a ghost of a smile on his face.

"So, any news on the others?" Parris asked, returning his attention back to his friend.

"Ah, well," the giant pulled a pained look. "Drashika got caught. Put up a good fight, but two British ships ended up being too much for the old man."

"Drashika?" Anto asked quietly to Fane, raising an eyebrow.

Parris caught wind of this and nodded. "One of the oldest pirates I've ever known. Last time I was him, he was 82 and wrinkly as shit, but had the body of someone half his age. It is a shame he had to die."

Ravelle nodded solemnly. "I believe he's why this meetin's been called." The news seemed to put an oppressive mood on the table. With a group of pirates, however, the bad vibes wouldn't last for long, even if it was as forced as the question the giant asked the two royals: "So, how long have ye two been together, eh?"

@ElderGod-kirky group

Fane couldn't help the smirk that twitched up her lips at the female pirate's pouting. So dramatic. And then they were talking about the ancient pirate she had almost seen as a role model—almost—and her mood soured some.

And then came the inevitable.

Fane sighed and threw her head back, eyes rolling so violently she was surprised she didn't see spots. Of course he would. Why didn't she see that coming? "I don't see how that's any of your business, Ravelle," she drawled, then rose a brow at Anto. "But if you really want to pry," she continued, looking over at the giant captain, "Ask him."

Anto's eyes went wide, blinking a couple of times as the captain turned to him and asked, "Well?"

"Probably….a month? Two?" he asked, looking down at Fane with a slight wince.

Jesus, this is bad. I don't even remember when we actually started to date, he thought, scratching the underside of his jaw sheepishly.

"Ah!" Ravelle said. Women and sex were his two favorite things, so he continued on. "And how is she in t-"

"That is none of your damned business," Anto interrupted him, his look hardening and his hand resting on the bigger knife on his side. "So don't even ask."

The table fell into a tense silence. Ravelle looked like he was contemplating breaking the small man over his knee, while Anto thought of the best places to stab the captain. Then, surprisingly, Ravelle burst into joyful laughter, letting his head fall back and his hands clutch his gut.

"Oh, fuck, Parris!" he exclaimed, wiping tears from his eyes, "You have a couple of hardasses."

Parris passed Anto a look that said you are in so much trouble as the other Captain stood from his seat.

"Well, time to cause trouble elsewhere," Ravelle said as his crew rose with him. "It was nice seeing you again, mate. Stay safe."

"You too," Parris said tensely, then turned to Anto. "The fuck was that?"

@ElderGod-kirky group

Fane was a mix of embarrassment and amusement. Embarrassment because this was all drama in her life she never had to deal with before, mainly someone prying into her private life—because everyone assumed she'd bite their heads off. Amusement because of Anto's reaction to the beginnings of the question Ravelle was saying. They were pirates, they had no modesty. He could've told them anything and she would've been impassive about it. Granted, it was a slightly touchy subject for her, but she didn't mind as much as Anto seemed to.

"I dunno Cap," Fane said lazily, leaning back in her chair, "sounds to me like him defending a lady's business." As if I could be called a lady.

Parris ignored her defense of Anto, hissing in a quiet voice, "I thought you were a pirate, boy. What the hell do you think you're doing, mouthing off to a friend of mine like that? If shit went sour, it would be put on my head for bringing you into here. I think it's time you kept your mouth shut and let us do the talking."

Anto didn't answer, frowning down at his feet. He was showing his true colors with each word he spoke. Any pirate would have let that woman do what she pleased without shame, even if they're in a relationship. No crew member would threaten a captain, either.

"Alright….alright, yeah," he said, moving from Fane and sitting back in his seat. "I am sorry."

Parris didn't answer. He just studied the bar with a pissed-off expression.

@ElderGod-kirky group

Fan stayed quiet, worried that Parris would lash out at her for not shutting down Anto like she would've done to any other crew member. The thought had her chewing on the inside of her lip, accidentally drawing blood but not caring. She busied herself with examining the table in front of her, counting different knicks in it that had been caused by daggers being plunged through it. There was quite a lot.

"And you," Parris said, his anger seemingly renewed as he turned to Fane. "You know how this works. Why even let him get out of his seat? Nothing good could come from turning that girl down, yet you let 'im anyways. Is he making you loose your edge?"

@ElderGod-kirky group

She shot a sharp look over at the captain, his tone rubbing her the wrong way. "And how the fuck was I supposed to know he was going to do that?" she hissed, not looking happy in the slightest about Parris's accusation. "I said nothing, Parris. I didn't tell him to leave, I didn't tell her to back off. Had I said something then, like you want me to, I would've looked like even more of a nutcase." She got up, grabbing a dagger and stabbing it into the table, glaring at the captain. "Sorry I can't read fucking minds, Captain." With that, she turned and left, the weapon remaining in the wood, the only evidence of her being there.
