I mean…you were. He blinked. I'm kinda confused as to what you are actually.

Just… a criminal with a good soul. Lilith shrugged. I… I dunno. That sounded stupid.
Like Robin Hood? He giggled.
I've never heard about them. Lilith looked at him. "Who were they?"
"He was an old story character from way back when. He stole from the rich and gave to the poor, that kind of thing."
"Huh. If I had money I'd probably do that. I don't want anyone living the life I was."
"Yeah…" Jules nodded. 'I'd do it too, but I've never been poor so I can't really speak from experience."
Lilith shrugged. "Let's hope you find a prissy girl who hasn't either." There was a slight edge to her voice; was it… jealousy?
"Nah. I'd rather find someone who works through hardships and still have a fighting spark in her."
Lilith glanced away. "There aren't a lot of broads out there like that anymore." She sighed. It gets really lonely being one.
"I know." He reached over and took her hand, blushing slightly.
Lilith glanced over at him in her peripherals, his hand warm on hers. She didn't want to pull away, therefore, didn't.
Jules smiled. "It's getting cold." He remarked. 'Do you wanna go back to the ship?"
"Sure." Lilith sat up.
Jules also did, still holding on to her hand. "So…..I was thinking about our next destination. Cus it's always good to plan ahead."
"Yeah, and? Where to?" She rose and started walking back to the ship with him.
"New Gaia." He replied. "There's a giant port there with all sorts of job opportunities,."
"Job opportunities? Are you going to plan to live there? Or are you just swinging by?" Lilith shot him a quizzical look.
"Just swinging by." He shrugged. He suddenly stopped walking. "You're…you're not gonna run away from me are you?"
Lilith blinked. "Why would I? I mean-" She put a fake look of thinking on her face. "I… I might." She grinned nervously.
Jules tilted his head a bit. "Really?"
"Um… yeah! Totally." She grinned unconvincingly and nodded.
Jules raised an eyebrow. "I find that answer is vague and unconvincing."
(squints Was that……. a Star Wars reference?)
Lilith turned red. I… don't really want to leave… what to say… OH SHIT!
