"Really? Tell me if you want."
"Really? Tell me if you want."
"Well, they killed my parents when I was sixteen and tried to rape me. He failed, I got hold of my keys and pressed the panic button. He fled in case anyone looked out a window. When I turned twenty-one I found him in a bar with a couple friends and sidled him up to an alleyway. Then I harassed the hell out of him. He died in the hospital a few days later. I plead my case in court, but they didn't believe me. I didn't have proof after all."
"Wow." Jules cleared his throat. "That's…..awful I'm sorry."
Lilith shrugged. "That's life, man. It's life for a poor, pretty demoness."
"So pretty." No waIT.
(xD No waIT xDDD)
"Wh-what?" This caught Lilith off guard, but not in a bad way. Do… do you mean it?
(Okay, seriously. This would be such a cool book. An angel/demon romance in SPACE)
"Yeah I mean it." He cleared his throat again. Sorry.
No… no that's alright. Lilith turned away with a smile and blush.
Jules blushed and lowered himself back onto the grass. "My life hasn't been very eventful so far."
"Really? Are you expecting that to change?" Lilith felt strongly curious where he was planning to go now, but decided not to push it.
"Yeah I guess I am." He chuckled. "Once I find a big job to do I'll get a better ship and maybe….y'know….start a family."
"Hm. Sounds eventful." Lilith grinned over at him, the starlight dancing in her eyes; she was so beautiful.
Jules laughed. "I guess? I mean, it's not what I thought I would want when I was older."
"It's apparently what you want now. I never thought of you to be the type to have kids. Maybe settle down, but you don't look like a kids man." She turned her head back up.
Is that what I… wait he can hear me.
"Is that what you what Lil?"
"Nothing, Jules. I was just…"
"….Okay. I get it. Personal stuff." He fidgeted a bit. "I may not look like a kids guy, but you never know."
"You just didn't look it, is all." She laughed gently. "I'm not going to judge a book by its cover."
"I know you aren't." He paused. "Wait what if we can read other people's minds but we haven't found out yet cus we've been alone?"
"I… don't think I can read other's minds. I don't think I'd want to, either…" Lilith sighed. "Maybe."
"Same here." Jules admitted. 'I'd rather just stick with your's." Gah that sounded creepy…
No, it's alright. Multiple minds are probably really hard to keep track of. She grinned and laughed a little.
Yeah. He snickered. Imagine reading criminal's minds…
I am technically a criminal… Lilith cocked an eyebrow. Or am I?
