"Well, kind of yeah," She said. "So, whatcha' doing out here?"

Darren gestured to his clothes, a tank top, and gym shorts. "Picked the worst day to go for a run and hang out in the park." Darren smiled.

"Come on, it's not that bad, I mean I'm just sitting in the shade," She laughed. "But, aren't you supposed to bring water when you run?"

"Yeah, I guess that would have been what smart person would do…" Darren laughed, "Unfortunately smart isn't a word I would use when describing myself."

"Ha, very funny. Your gonna have to change that, anyone should be able to describe themselves with almost any word," She said. "But, have you ever ran before, which you probably have," She looked him in the eyes, "Bring Water!" She nagged her water bottle back.

Darren laughed at how she scolded him, it was like they knew each other, it was like talking to a friend.

"No wonder you don't describe yourself as smart, don't even bring water when you run," She muttered under her breath. Finding the sentence she was on, she scanned the book page.

"I guess I'll have to remember water next time," Darren smiled, "Thanks though"

"When would the so-called next time be?"She asked sarcastically, tilting her head.

"Two days from now." Darren retorted, "I run every other day and lift at home the days I don't go for a run…"

"At least your more active than I," She spun her bottle of water around.

"I try." Darren shrugged, "So what are your plans for today?"

"To read, and then maybe read some more, and then finish off with more reading," She said.

Darren laughed at her sarcasm, "I take it you like to read, what book?"

"Well, right now I'm reading GMH," She held up the book so he could see the cover.

Darren squinted at it, "Nice." There was no denying it, Darren liked her.

"Also, GMH stands for Genetically Modified Human, FYI," She smiled, looking up at him.

"Thanks, I didn't want to ask… So your only plans today are to read?"

"Nothing else to do," She said.

"I might be able to help with that!" Darren smiled, his heart began to race. "Do you wanna get dinner with me sometime?"

"Sure! Why not, we only just met because you needed water!" She joked. "Lol, sure,"
