The guards watched until she was out of sight then relayed the information to Isaac. "I will be over there later to confront them." "Sir I'm not sure that's a good idea."
"And who are you to tell me what I can do?"

Crossing the border again, she couldn't help but happily him as she knew exactly how things would lay out with her family. Speaking of which, the dear king himself was at the front gate screaming at the guards stationed at the wall. When in sight Willow was welcomed with a hug from her father, then he backhanded her across the cheek, then hugged her again.

I seriously wonder with this family.. She pondered, feeling her cheek sting. Yet she smiled contently. Strike 42 for Willow!

Isaac discussed with his father a declaration of war. "It's high time we go to war with this kingdom." He protested. The king nodded solemnly. "We are in no state to begin a war right now! With the current drought and famine, we can't stand to devastate the kingdom anymore." "Father we must!" Isaac shouted.

Finally getting dragged up to the towers with her father, she knew what he was going to do. He was leaving to speak with the war General, but was too upset to let Willow leave his side in fear she would try again run away.
Even after Willow explained what happened and what she did.

"Father. Father. Father!" She sounded annoyed as she kept pestering her father as he entered a room. "Fine. Ignore me like always." She stayed outside the room as her father entered, barely listening to his shouts at the general.
"My my. He wonders why I pester him and Mother so much." She huffed, placing her hands on her head.

The knight nodded and went out immediately. The king came rushing in behind Isaac. "I can't stop you but I'd like to give you some advice. Be smart with your choices. Please be careful. I can only help you so much." Isaac nodded with a serious ton and took out some parchment, sitting down at a nearby desk and carefully writing his declaration of war.

Willow watched her father storm out of the room and down a hall, and she chased after him at a brisk walk.
She knew what her father told the general, but she wished she could have a say in these choices.
"Father, will you listen?"
"No. The general is setting out for private matters, what is there for me to listen to anymore?"
Willow groaned, rolling her eyes.

Time passed rather quickly before the declaration reached the other side, the messenger nearly killed on the spot due to the guards being so on edge lately.
Willow was one of the first to know about it since she was forced to be stationed at her Father's side after her little border trick.
She knew it would happen, but it seemed to smack her harder than her father had not to long ago. Speaking of which, half if her face was now a surprisingly bright red.

Isaac waited in the castle for the scroll back from the other kingdom. If they agreed, he would launch his first attack that evening. If they declined, he would launch his first attack that evening.

XD))

Willow' s father wrote out a quick scroll and sent it on its way. She could only guess he was agreeing, the confident smile on his face said it all. Willow having one of her constant mood changes and turned around, walking to one of the toward despite her Father's angry shouts for her to stay by him.
Fuck that. She chuckled, climbing the towers steps.

Reaching the top of the tower, Willow climbed onto the very top of it and sat down, letting her legs dangle down over the side. Bringing her hood back up she looked out at the tree line, and the walls of the opposing kingdom barely even visible in the distance.

"Your majesty." He bowed quickly then frantically read off the scroll. "'The king accepts Prince Isaac II's declaration of war.' That's all it says, your princedom, sir." Isaac nodded slowly. In his mind, he could already see the knights storming the castle. "Give the general my command to attack."

Willow watched her kingdoms patrol guard move away towards the border, and she knew there were armies from where she couldn't see already preparing by the generals command.
"Dear, I'm glad to be an only child." She closed her eyes, softly starting to sing as she brought her legs up.

Looking up at the sky, Willow continued her soft hum. She heard shouts from below but ignored them.
Atleast I'm not queen and having to deal with this as much as my Mother and Father. I wish they would let me do more.

Willow looked back down.
The ocean connects the two borders, a mile wide span on each. She thought of a story she was told as a kid. Willow started to climb down the tower.
The ocean is a kingdom in itself, it's waves bordering us away from its depths.

@Uh.Yeah.I.Sure.HOPE.It.Does!

Isaac put his head back, trying to relax and think about something other than war. His heart pounded and his mind returned to the waves. He could hear them crashing against the shore in the distance. If only he was like the waves, not controlled, never bothered, coming and going as they please. But life was so much more complicated than the tides.

To this day the ocean lives in bliss.
Willow left her home, sneaking past the walls like she had always done.
And soon, our home land will live in bliss. Shaking her head she laughed, following the path to the ocean.
"Very unlikely story, Nana." She spoke to herself, not bothering to finish it as she stumbled upon the sandy shores. "Let me enjoy my last moment of peace here."

Listening to the waves, Willow blocked out any and all background noise. She kicked her shoes off, stepping ankle deep into the water, not at all caring as the hem of her gown started to soak in the salt water.
