"Yes, of course, I understand." John nodded. "I'm really glad you're back."
"Yes, of course, I understand." John nodded. "I'm really glad you're back."
"You're pissed off, aren't you?"
John chuckled. "Just a little bit."
"Well, let's order something. I guess."
"Hmm, yes." John gestured for the waitress with his hand.
(Who is gonna act out the waitress?)
(i can lmao)
"Hi, yes, are you ready to order?" The waitress took out her pen and notepad.
"Don't be daft, of course I am." Sherlock said.
The waitress looked at him intensely. "Okay, what would you like?"
"Salad. I guess."
"Alright, then. What about you?" The waitress asked John.
"Ta, the mushroom ravioli looks delicious, thank you." He closed the menu.
"You can go do your waiting duties, I guess." Sherlock said, waving the waitress away.
The waitress cleared her throat. "Alright." She walked away.
"Right. So, I guess we're going to just sit here now?"
"Yep, that's how a restaurant works." John smiled.
"And do nothing."
"Most people chat, discuss things." He gestured to the other people around them.
"But we aren't chatting, not really. Is this normal?"
"I dunno," John replied. "I don't know what Mycroft was expecting."
"Probably us kissing or something." Sherlock joked. "I'd like to kiss John." Sherlock thought.
John blushed. "U-uh, that was your first thought?" He laughed nervously.
"Mycroft has his little fancies."
"Yeah, right." John mentally panicked. He imagined Sherlock and him as a couple.
