He stood and walked over to the painting. "This is just. I can't. Whoa. It's amazing. It looks exactly this morning." He blew out a sigh. "I just. Whoa."
He stood and walked over to the painting. "This is just. I can't. Whoa. It's amazing. It looks exactly this morning." He blew out a sigh. "I just. Whoa."
"Well, that's cause it is this morning's sunrise. I get up at 6 am every morning and watch the sunrise. It helps calm my nerves." Her attention was pulled to his lips when he spoke. She couldn't help it, she was just curious. She kissed him once, would he be so opposed if she did it again?
(Oh yeeeeaaaahhh forgot to say the powers are widely accepted but somehow don't make that much of a difference to society. That or it's just me being lazy lol)
He couldn't take his eyes off the painting. "Is this your power? I mean, if you have one. Some people don't some do, you know this I don't know why I'm even saying this but anyway- Is it?"
She chuckled softly. "Do you know how many people have asked me that? No, it isn't. This is just me being a perfectionist."
"Oh, well sorry. I didn't mean to make it sound like you needed powers to do that it's just that I've never seen anything like it. I mean, I've never been a true perfectionist so I don't really know what it looks like to be one you know and its-" Shut up! "-It looks good. Really good."
She laughed. "No, I do have powers, I just don't use them. Mind control makes me feel weird." She grabbed a bottle and a spare rag, dousing the rag in the liquid and started scrubbing her arms with the paint remover. "This could take a while."
Mind control… He watched as she scrubbed her arms. "Do you need…help?"
"Yeah, can you grab that hanger over there?" She pointed to a shirt on a hanger on her closet knob.
"Sure." He walked over to the closet and took the hanger into his hands. "Here you go." He handed her the shirt with a smile.
"Thanks love." She smiled at him before unbuttoning the faded shirt and slipping it off, shivering slightly at the sudden cold attacking her skin. She replaced it with the black tank top he'd given her, pulling on the black and white flannel that had been with it.
The word 'love' echoed in his brain. As she began to start changing, he looked to the ground, his face burning red. She called me love.
She ran her fingers through her hair, humming lightly. "Ahhh, much better." She put the canvas off to the side to dry and replaced it with a sketchpad. "Now, what to do next?" She glanced around the room before her eyes landed on him. "Hey, would you be willing to let me draw you?"
He looked up to her. "I, umm, sure." (Sorry, really busy at the moment)
(Nah it's all good)
"Then take a seat, this might take a while so get comfortable." She smiled, picking at a splotch of orange paint on her neck.
"Okay." He did as she said and sat. He'd never been drawn before, but he knew that she'd do amazing at it. After all, not many can paint a sunrise exactly.
She repinned her hair up and grabbed her pencil. "Alright, another day, another project. Let's do this." She twirled her pencil before starting, sketching gently with a soft hum to keep her focus, glancing over at him every once in a while.
Any other person would have been bored. Not him, no. He sat there and watched yet pencil meet the paper, motions around the page- everything. He could have sat there forever. Gosh, she's beautiful.
She bit her lip softly in concentration, this wasn't a project she could mess up. Steady…steady…God he's cute.
Jackson was careful not to move too much. He knew to do that. Besides that, he just watched in awe. It was like he was stargazing at midnight, each little movement of hers a spark of light in the sky.
(Sorry! Dinner called.)
She smiled as she worked, proud of her work so far. She needed to capture the pure perfection of the image or it would be all for nothing.
(Ooo yum! Shall we skip to when she's done or you for something?"
(Yeah sounds good!)
And hour and 45 minutes later, she dropped her colored pencil and sat back. "And finished! Came out better than expected but it's pretty good." She smiled a little, swiping her hair that had slipped out of her bun out of her face.
He stood and walked to her, legs wobbling a little from sitting down for so long. "Whoa." It was like looking in a mirror. "I didn't know I could look so good." Why did you just say that?!
"You always look good love." She kissed his cheek and giggled. God I sound like I'm his girlfriend. She flushed red and looked away at the realization.
He chuckled a little. "I mean, I don't really agree." His cheeks began to heat up as her lips met them. He noticed she looked away. "What?" Did I do something wrong?
