"Just regular please babe." he said softly as he sat at a bar stool.

“Sure thing,” Joanna hummed, pouring a glass of water for him. Once poured, she slid it over to him with a smile.

Tempest grabbed it and started to guzzle it down, clearly having been parched. After the glass was empty he smiled again "Thanks hun."

“No problem. Can I get you anything else?” Joanna offered, leaning on the counter with a soft smile. “If not, I need to get back to work.”

"I let ya work babe." Tempest told her started to have a conversation with some really drunk college guy next to him, talking about some nerd culture thing or another

The next twenty minutes flew by faster then expected, and Joanna began to gather her things. Hanging up her apron, she glanced over at Jonathan with a smile. "Thanks for driving me earlier. I'll see you tomorrow." She hummed, waving as she came up to Tempest. "Ready to go?"

"No no Jason would defiantly beat Micheal an-oh of course…hey pal good talk." he chuckled and turned to Jo "Got some interesting people here around closing time." he chuckled and took her hand "Alright let's go home." and led her out to his car.

Joanna snickered a bit, waving at the college student as they started out. “There’s been weirder. Some spill their guts after about two drinks. That’s the fun part.” Joanna mumbled, holding on to his hand tightly.

"I've wanted to see you all day sweetheart." he muttered as he gave her a soft kiss, then opened the car door for her

"Same here. I didn't even get a good morning kiss." Joanna hummed, leaning against the frame of the car. "You were in quite the rush this morning. I even thought about bringing you lunch. Alas, my tires were flat."

"Oh you need help with that Jo?" he asked as he drove, turning down their street.

"Unless you can fix slashed tires, I'll be alright. Someone came through and took out my back two." Joanna mumbled, resting her head against the window. "It's quite obnoxious."

"Who the fuck slashed your tires?!" Tempest was visibly angry at this news, a rare outburst of anger as his form flickered between his anthro and human form.

Taken aback, Joanna leaned back away from him with wide eyes. "I-I don't know, Tempest. I didn't see who did it." She whispered, biting on the edge of her nail.

"S-sorry just…they better hope I don't catch them." he told her as his human form solidified

As Tempest relaxed, Joanna did too. "Right. There's not much we can do about it otherwise." Joanna mumbled, giving him a soft smile.

Tempest nodded and gently took her hand as they pulled into the apartment parking lot.

Glancing back over to him, she gave his hand a gentle squeeze. "Don't worry about it hun. It'll be fine."

As they stop he unbuckled his seat belt and hugged her gently "I can get someone to look at it"

"I don't want to cause you any trouble…" Joanna mumbled, resting her head on his shoulder. "You don't have to."

Temp released her and started to get out the car "You're never too much Jo." To be honest he wasn't using much of his money for himself at this point other than for basic necessities and was saving up for Jo, still holding onto what she said, that she wanted to go back to school.

"You say that now." Joanna sighed, getting out of the car with a gentle sigh. "I really don't want you to spend your money on me. I can handle myself, Temp." She insisted, walking up to the building.

"I know you can…" he wasn't deterred from his plan though as he caught up to Joanna "How was work by the way? I forgot to ask."

"Work? It was alright. Busy, and full of drunk people. Appealing, I know." Joanna replied sarcastically, giving him a light smile. "You said yours was good, right?"

"Great as ever. We got another deal we're working on and if we do this good then i feel we're ready for triple A projects!" he said excitedly
