(I get that. School and all that has been keeping me pretty tied as well.)
(I'd love to continue this with you, as long as you're up for it.)

(I'd love to continue this with you, as long as you're up for it.)
(I would love to)
(Alright then! Do we want to go ahead and skip a few days, just so we can kind of 'start fresh' and not have to read back?)
(we can)
(Alright, would you like to write up the starter?)
Tempest was calling up Jo after he was finishing up at the studio. He was saving up every little extra thing he was making to make his "plan" into reality. He was sending most his workers home and closing up as he dialed her. he knew that she at least could talk a bit as he knew the bar wasn't as busy at this time.
At the sound of her phone ringing, Joanna finished pouring up one man's drink before turning to answer. Holding it up to her ear after accepting the call, she smiled knowing who it was. "Hey Temp. What's up?" She asked softly, using her shoulder to support the phone. He had been correct, that the bar was pretty slow right now.
"You up to hang after work tonight?" Tempest asked as he locked up the door and got into his car. He was pretty drained from his day at work but he always wanted to see Jo as least a couple times a day.
“Tonight? Babe, you know I’m working until 10…. right?” Joanna asked softly, not really caring if he was up for a late night. “I’d be happy to hang out, it’ll just be late.” Her voice was soft, as she was trying to multitask at the current moment.
"I'm always up to wait for you." he told her. He probably should be sleeping as soon as he got home but he really wanted to see his girlfriend badly and was well prepared to wait for her. "I'll see you then babe."
Joanna had a smile pull up on her lips, wiping down the counter. "Am I meeting you at the apartments?" She asked in a hum, turning to go get a refill for one of the customers. "Or are you coming to get me?"
"I'll come get you if you want." he offered as he pulled to a stop at a red light
"I'll leave that up to you. I just need to let Jonathan know if he's driving me back or not." Joanna told him, leaning back against the counter. She was already tired, but knew she could stay up to hang around Tempest.
"Alright Alright I'm gonna drive you home." Tempest confirmed as he took a u-turn to go back in the direction of the bar
A brighter smile pulled up on her lips, yet she still felt bad. "Love youuu~ It's not too much trouble, is it?" Joanna asked him, biting at her bottom lip as she awaited the response.
"It's never too much trouble to see you." he said quickly as he put on his blinker and turned down to the right, close to the bar now.
"I know, but you're going out of your way to pick me up." Joanna sighed, glancing at the wall clock. She noted that it was only twenty minutes until her shift was suppose to end.
"Really Jo just relax I want to pick you up silly." he told her "Alright I'm coming in to bother you bye." he chuckled as he pulled into the bar parking lot
"I-" The dial tone rang, and she sighed with a light laugh. "Sweet, sweet Tempest." Joanna hummed, pocketing her phone as she went back to work. "What am I going to do with you?"
Tempest would soon be seen entering the bar. His eyes were tired but his face had a giant smile across it.
At hearing someone enter the bar, Joanna quickly made her way over to him with a giant smile. “Hey! How was your work day?” She asked, standing on her toes to place a soft kiss on his cheek.
Tempest gave her a quick but sweet hug "It was great…tiring but great." he told her as he looked around "looks like I came at the right time huh?"
"Mhmm~" She hummed, taking his hand to lead him over to the bar. "I'm glad you had a good day. Need a drink or something?" Joanna asked, smiling sweetly at him.
"Just a water…I downed a pretty big bottle of fanta at work." he chuckled as he was lead over
Joanna nodded, stepping around the counter to get his drink. “Mm- okay. Do you want an iced glass? Or just regular water?” She asked, pulling her hair up in a ponytail before grabbing a glass.
