"Why, you're younger than I thought then." He said, giving him a smile back. "Well come by once you're 21, and we'll treat you." He nodded, walking off. Joanna was smiling, watching the two talk. "What was that about babe?"
"You're boss wanted to get me a drink…he's glad we came by too." Tempest smiled happily "Your boss is pretty chill."
"I love him, he's super nice." She hummed, watching the last few people exit the bar. Wiping up a few seats, she hung the towel over her shoulder. "My feet kill, I just want to sit down." Whining, she tugged at the strap of her heels with a frown.
"I can get the others to drive the van back…and I can drive you home." Tempest offered "what do ya say?"
Looking over to him, she let a slight smirk grow on her lips. "I don't want to take you from your friends." She hummed, walking up to him, and taking his hands in hers.
"They'll be fine…you've been working hard today and deserve some relaxation." he told her, kissing one of her hands gently
"Well if you're sure you don't mind." She hummed, holding onto him tightly, tipping backwards.
Tempest picked her up with a little chuckle and kissed her softly "Of course I don't beautiful." he told her
Smiling softly, she pecked his lips once more before resting her head on his shoulder. "I love you," She mumbled, with a smile. "You mean so much to me."
"You're my everything Jo." he whispered and picked her up in a bridal style carry he had gotten better at the more he did it. "Let's go home."
"I can walk out to the car." She hummed, supporting herself in his arms. "But I have a feeling you don't want to put me down."
"Nope." he smiled as he carried her out the doors and to her car, supporting her with one hand for a little as he opened her car door, setting her in the passenger seat.
Gently, she slid into the seat, her arms slightly looped around his neck. "Thanks babe." She hummed with a bright smile. Carefully, she pulled the front of his shirt closer to her, and pressed her lips against his.
He kissed her back, happily sighing into the kiss before pulling away. "Let's get home Jo so you can relax." he said to her, giving her one last little kiss on the lips before getting into the driver seat.
"I'm pretty happy, kissing you here in the parking lot." She hummed, after he had gotten into the car. "Though we'd probably get yelled at by someone if we stayed too long."
"Tempting as that is…" he started leaning over, kissing her lips gently "We gotta go home now." he then buckled in and started to pull out the parking lot
"It's probably smart to be having you drive," She mumbled, feeling a headache coming. "I had a few drinks earlier, and they're finally coming to hit me."
"Another advantage of being only 19 I suppose" he told her as they were driving home. "I don't really even like the taste of alcohol…okay that's a lie I love Bloody Marys bu that's our secret." he chuckled
"When have you had a Bloody Mary?" She asked in a teasing tone, kicking her heels off. Leaving them sitting at her feet, she adjusted the tights under her skirt.
"Lex lets me try hers…tastes like salsa with a twist." he told her as they neared the parking lot of the apartment
"Ironic isn't it." She snorted to herself, noting that Lex was a vampire. "Does she use actual blood in hers? I'm not trying to be rude, I'm legitimately asking."
"Nah she drinks it as a joke. She gets were monthly blood supply from a blood bank. They can eat and drink anything but they don't need to eat anything besides blood." he responded as he pulled into the parking lot of the apartment
"Aw OK, makes sense." She nodded, leaning back into the seat. She ignored the fact they had just pulled up to the apartment.
He unbuckled and looked over to Jo and smiled a bit "You wanna get out or," he leaned in close "Just stick here for a while." resting his head on her shoulder as he waited for her responce
"Dunno, what are you thinking?" She asked softly, taking his hand in hers.
