Joanna laughed too, trying to act like she was suppose to be here. She didn't feel exactly right to be, but if Tempest wanted her here, she wasn't going to disagree with his choice.
Joanna laughed too, trying to act like she was suppose to be here. She didn't feel exactly right to be, but if Tempest wanted her here, she wasn't going to disagree with his choice.
"You just helped me get this deal…Jo…you just made this studio a great deal." Tempest told her
"I barely did a thing." She told him, looking down at their hands. "I was just by your side."
"You gave me confidence Joanna." he told her, taking her hands in his own
"Yeah? That doesn't effect much. You're such a chill, laid back person. I'm being honest, I really didn't do anything." She whispered, avoiding his gaze.
"Take the compliments you goof, I was a nervous wreck before you calmed me down."
Sighing, she nodded, and looked up to him. "Fine, fine, I take it." She pouted, taking his hand and placed a kiss to the top of it.
"Alright love" he smiled brightly "Now…you said something about…ice cream?" Tempest grinned, kissing her cheek affectionately
"I did, and I know the best place!" She grinned back, pulling him along outside.
He allowed himself to be pulled along, knowing everyone would be fine without him
Leading him outside, she kept pulling him along past the car. "We can walk, it isn't far from here."
He smiled and kept up, wondering where they were going.
"It's up this street!" She chirped, smiling when she saw the familiar sign.
"Alrighty then cutie." he chuckled "I don't think I've ever been here before…"
"It's a hole in the wall, it's hard to find." She hummed, coming up to the door. The sign read, Mystic Creamery, and a smirk spread across Joanna's lips.
"Heh I like the name at least." he chuckled and squeezed her hand gently
"I think you'll like more than just the name babe." She told him, pushing through the door. As soon as they were, a soft squeal was heard and Joanna was enveloped in a hug from a teenage girl. "Joanna! I haven't seen you in forever!" With that, Jo laughed looking at the girl with a smile. "Hey Karly, how are you?" Her smile was bright, but her eyes were brighter. The girl, named Karly, had long dark hair and bright lavender eyes. She seemed odd for sure.
Tempest seemed delighted at the warm greeting Jo received and waited to be introduced to the energetic happy teen.
Karly was chattering away, and then caught sight of Tempest. Her face flushed, and she went a little bit quiet. "Who's this?" She asked softly, still smiling. "Oh! Right, Karly, this is Tempest. Tempest, Karly." She smiled, taking a hold of his hand with a smile. "He's like you." She told Karly, making her bright eyes grow. "Really!?" She asked excitedly.
"Really?" he echoed, looking to Karly "Well Hello there Karly I'm Temp as said before…I'm an anthro shifter." he said, sticking a hand out as he was in human form for the time being
Karly took his hand, smiling brightly. "That's awesome!" She asked, seeming to perk up from her quiet fizzle. She was back in her chipper mood, as quick as she was out of it. "I'm part anthro shifter too. It's a really long story, but yeah." She smiled, fixing her rich brown pony tail.
"Wow I umm…never met another one besides my sister" And with that he showed her his canine like form "We're all glad shedding season is over." he chuckled
"Oh believe me, I know." She laughed brightly, her face still a rosy pink. Joanna watched the two's interaction with a bright smile of her own.
"Well I'm so happy to meet an old friend of Jo over here….if you don't mind me asking…what's your other form? don't have to show me if you don't want of course." he assured her
Karly’s smile only grew. “I’m a cat hybrid. My fur is a dark indigo color. Most people think it’s just black.”
