"Yeah sure, I don't want to see that for my breakfast, lunch, or dinner. That's just gross." She squished her face, shaking her head. "I may literally throw up, that's just really so gross." She mumbled, watching the two eat from the plates. "It's honestly making me sick watching them."
Hearing that he turned her in his lap and held her close as she now faced him, shrinking back to his human form so she would be more comfortable with the little kiss he gave her "Better now?"
She was startled at the sudden movement, and blinked a few times before answering. "It was fine Tempest, if you wanna watch I can just close my eyes." She said softly, kissing him again. "I don't mind." She mumbled pulling away.
"You kiddin'? You're the best sight in this room!" He firmly said and showered her cheeks, nose, and lips in tiny little kisses before pulling her close again "And don't you ever forget it."
Joanna giggled, squirming her face as his lips touched her. "I'll try my best, but I think you misspoke." She hummed, hugging him tightly. "Because you're a million times better looking."
"nah." He shook his head a bit and pressed his forehead to hers "Cause I can't even compare to you"
Joanna rolled her rather large green eyes, laying her hands on his shoulders. “You’re better looking in your own way.” She said simply, and pecking his lips.
Tempest's electric blue eyes sparked with that familiar joy "You really are something special…" His hand fixed hair that had fallen in her face "perfect for me in every way."
She shook her head, with a warm smile on her face. She rolled her eyes, and leaned forward, hugging around his neck. "Maybe for you, but I am far from perfect." She whispered, holding him tightly.
"perfection isn't possible…but you're more than enough for me…more than I could ever hope for Jo" he whispered back and it was like they were the only two people in the room. No people yelling over that silly contest…just them.
"I don't deserve you, not in the slightest." She whispered back, her eyes falling closed. She was tired, and he was relaxing and warm. Her grip loosened, and she relaxed into his warm embrace.
Tempest stood up and mouthed the words 'bedtime' to Xander who kindly nodded and assured him he would let everyone know where they had gone. Before Jo knew it they were walking up the stairs, Tempest carrying her in a bridal style carry
Her eyes opened some, and he looked to him a little confused. "W-where are we going?" She asked with a yawn, snuggling into his arms. "I don't want to take you from your friends."
"It's fine Xander can lock up when…wait!" Tempest hurried down the stairs again and asked Jo "What time is it right now?!"
She blinked a few times, pulling her phone out of her pocket. "Almost eleven thirty. Why?" She asked, concerned at his suddenness. She wasn't sure why, but his change of subject worried her.
Then It happened. A single snowflake fell and landed on Jo's shirt, then another and another until it was lightly blanketing the ground around them "Merry Christmas Joanna" He held her closer and grinned a bit
"W-what?" She asked, looking up, and seeing the snow. She pulled herself from his arms, and stood on the floor. She still had her shoes on, so her feet wouldn't get cold. "Snow? Wait, but how?" She asked turning to face Tempest.
"A little Christmas magic I guess." Tempest shrugged, catching some flakes on his tongue
A smile broke her lips, and she ran over to him hugging him around the waist. "I love you so much." She whispered, nuzzling her head into his chest.
"I do too Jo…I love you too." He told her, stroking her hair happily
She pulled back from him, and pulled his shoulders down. She kissed him on the lips tenderly, petting his cheek.
He pressed into the kiss and put his hands at her waist. Thoughts were once again a giant mess in his head as the only thing he found he could focus on was her
To deepen the kiss, she stood on her toes. Her arms draped over his shoulders, and she leaned back, pulling him along with her. The world was whizzing, and she was trying to focus her attention on the center of the two of them's universe.
Tempest allowed her to pull at him for me was really was feeling like they were each other's worlds, and to him she was the only real thing right then.
Her feet began to cramp up, so she relaxed her stance. Now on flat feet, and calming the kiss, she felt more calm herself. Relaxed, here with Tempest right in front of her. "I love you." She mumbled against his lips.
