Joanna was busy at work missing Tempest come in. She was pouring drinks in a rush and finally had them all set on the counter. "Dang y'all." She chuckled.

Tempest sat in the seat between Gavin and Richard (an angel), shifting into his canine from without worry here.

Joanna looked at Tempest. "Oh! Hi! You want some water?" She asked grabbing another glass.

"Sure that'd be great" He responded, among the few that were not drinking

She smiled and poured him a glass. "I think we have other things as well." She chuckled leaning over. "Chocolate milk, apple juice, orange juice." She shrugged. "Oh and eggnog that isn't spiked.

Felix's eyes light up "Chocolate milk sounds nice."

"Oh Eggnog!" another young looking worker responded, the synth player of the group.

Joanna chuckled. "Alrighty coming right up!" She hummed turning around pouring the drinks. "CHocolate milk- here you are. And eggnog! Here you go."

"I'll stick with water, loaded up on soda at the studio." Tempest told Jo "And thanks again for what you did for us."

"It's no big deal, just glad I was able to help." She smiled leaning on the counter.

"What time does usually close?" Temp asked "We closed up a bit early to visit you today."

"Oh- you didn't have to. We're open way past midnight. But I head home at midnight." She nodded wiping down the counter.

"Ah good to know." Temp took a sip of water and put the glass back down "Well we needed a shorter day anyway. I don't think any of my employees are gonna complain. They get paid just the same."

"Well lucky them, must be nice." She chuckled turning around pouring another glass for one of the other customers. "Oh! Tempest- you need to meet John."

"Alrighty let's meet this John fellow then." Tempest responded, his tail swished behind himself

"Hey- John you busy?" She called over her shoulder grabbing herself a glass of water.

John had peeked his head from the back, back from dropping by dirty cups to the back "Work load's pretty light right now. Why?"

"Come meet Tempest. The one I told you about." She smiled waving him over.

John walks out and looks over the gathered group "Oh wow…"

"Don't worry- they're nice." She smiled taking his hand.

They introduced themselves to Jonathan and he gave a little smile "H-Hi there you all it's um nice to meet you all."

Joanna smiled at him and noted his nervousness. She gave his hand a gentle squeeze and a reassuring nod. "Hey it's cool they won't hurt you."

"And the cat likes pats." Lexi said poking Felix

"Lexi knock it off, but um yeah I do." The feline in question chuckles

John looks back to Joanna with a raised eyebrow

"There no stranger then you." She said ticking her finger.

He gave a soft sigh and slipped his hand from hers and patted Felix who purred "You're right…they are nice."

"I told you. Now you can go back to work, thanks babes." She smiled at him poking his nose.
