"Do a little more, huh? We'll have to see about that then," Daus teased, looking up at Erikos for a few moments as he traced a few small circles on the other's chest. He let a few small pauses go on between them, finally realizing that he had been staring for a while. "You have really nice eyes, y'know?" He mumbled, a small smile tracing his lips.
Erikos smiled warmly at that. "Aw, thanks. I usually get told that I'm weird because I have blue eyes and dark skin, but I like to think they're attractive. They definitely have snagged me a few dates," he chuckled
"They aren't even close to weird," Daus protested, frowning as if he thought it was wrong that anyone would ever think that Erikos' eyes were weird. "They're honestly beautiful if I'm being completely honest." He added.
Erikos' smile turned to something a bit more soft. "Thanks," he murmured, sounding like he genuinely meant it. He wrapped his arms around Daus' back, his fingers tracing circles on his skin absently
"Love you," Daus mumbled after a few pauses of silence between them, pressing a soft kiss to the other's collarbone. He never thought he would be saying those words truthfully, since most of his relationships had been pretty terrible before.
"Love you too," Erikos hummed, smiling dorkily at the kiss to his collarbone. He leaned up a tad, just enough to press a few more kisses to Daus' neck and jawline while he gave his body a small squeeze
"Dork," Daus hummed, pressing a soft kiss to Erikos' forehead when he noticed the bright smile on the other's face. It was honestly adorable, not that he would mention that openly unless he was feeling sappy.
"Dweeb," Erikos countered, leaning up to peck Daus' nose again. He continued to hold Daus close, though he was slowly realizing that it was nearly dark. Huh. The day went by pretty fast
"I would call you a twig, but you're sort of…not a twig," Daus chuckled, motioning to Erikos' physique with a small, lopsided grin.
"Nope. I'm a total twunk," Erikos said with a laugh. "But I think you're somewhere between twink and twunk. Like a….twinky twunk?" he said before laughing again
"A twinky twunk?" Daus repeated, raising a brow in question as he laughed, finding the words completely absurd. Is this what people spent their time doing nowadays? Coming up with new, random variations of words? Though, he had to admit that they were pretty funny.
"I don't know," Erikos giggled. He couldn't help his loud laughter, which was only fueled by Daus' laughs. He grinned widely as he did so, and he had to take a moment to wipe at the corner of his eye
"You're such a dork. A cute one though," Daus added in between small laughs as he wrapped his arms around Erikos once again, realizing that the sun had just set. Time almost seemed to move a lot faster when he spent the day with Erikos, though he was sure that it was a good thing.
Erikos eventually stopped laughing, save for the occasional giggle here and there. He took a deep breath, still smiling widely as he did so. He glanced out the window, his eyes widening a bit as he realized the sun had set. "Well, damn. If we're going to the island, we should probably go soon."
"You're right," Daus nodded, pushing himself up and stretching a bit in his spot as he ran a hand through his hair in an attempt to fix it.
Erikos sat up a tad as well, though he was a little annoyed when his fingers caught on several knots. "Looks like it might take a bit to get ready," he chuckled
"Tell me about it," Daus answered, letting out a small sigh as he ran a hand through his longer curls, trying to comb through some of the knots. He got up after a few moments and leaned down, grabbing the shirt he had earlier and slipped it on.
Erikos eventually gave up on finger-combing his hair, instead pulling a white tank top on and grabbing a brush. He decided to stay in his swim shorts, feeling too lazy to change into anything else
"Is your dad going to mind if we leave?" Daus asked, looking towards Erikos as he let a small yawn escape his lips. He stretched a bit in his spot, feeling a bit tired, but he had enough of energy to go out to the island with Erikos.
"Nah. I know how to drive the boat, and it's not like I haven't gone out at night before," Erikos responded with a shrug. He reached down, slipping some converse on before yawning
Daus nodded, slipping on his pair of shoes before he looked back towards Erikos, rubbing his eyes tiredly. "As long as you don't crash, tonight should be fun," he joked, a lopsided grin crossing his lips.
"Don't worry, I won't crash. I know how to drive the boat like a normal person, but if worse comes to worse I can always manipulate the water to get us where we need to go," Erikos responded nonchalantly
Daus nodded in understanding, brushing a few strands of curly hair back in an attempt to fix his hair, though he was almost sure that it looked terrible at this point. "When should we go?" He asked, looking towards Erikos as he finally slipped his shoes on.
"Probably right around now. Just gotta make sure my dad has the boat back, then we can take it over to the island," Erikos answered. He laughed a little as Daus continued to try and fix his hair before handing him a brush
"Oh, brushing just makes it worse," Daus laughed, motioning to his hair and moving his hands wider away as if to convey how it had the tendency to poof. He nodded in agreement, beginning to make his way to the door as he stretched a bit.
