"Anything, mostly fantasy stuff."
"Anything, mostly fantasy stuff."
"So… Like dragons?" Brooke asked.
"Kinda?" He said.
Brooke gave him an odd look. "How is it 'kinda'?"
"Well, I draw Demi-Dragons, Werewolves, People in a fantasy world, that type of stuff." He explained
"Oh, cool. Do you have anything with you that I could look at?" Brook asked.
"No, sorry." He said.
"Ah, well. Maybe I can see them some other time?" Brooke suggested.
"Sure, I'll remember to bring them the next time we meet up," He said.
Brooke nodded. She checked her phone for the time, and her eyebrows shot up. "Oh, shoot! I've got to my parents' house. I'm supposed to be there in fifteen minutes!" she exclaimed, quickly rising from her seat.

(Okie-dokie. It's your turn.)
Brooke nodded. She checked her phone for the time, and her eyebrows shot up. "Oh, shoot! I've got to my parents' house. I'm supposed to be there in fifteen minutes!" she exclaimed, quickly rising from her seat.
"Run! Run like your life depends on it!" He said playfully as he stood up and started walking outside.
Brooke laughed, stuffing her phone back in her purse. "Well, it was good to catch up with you while we could," she said, starting towards her car.
"Same to you, Ms. Henstridge"
"That's 'Brooke' to you. And everyone else, for that matter," Brooke stated, half-joking.
"Even your manager?" He asked with a slight laugh.
Brooke shrugged. "Yeah, pretty much everyone actually calls me by my first name. Unless it's very formal."
"I already know that, Brooke Henstridge." He said with smiling, making his dimples show.
"Seriously," Brooke groaned. "Just call me Brooke! While I do like my last name, people calling me by it make me feel like I'm in an overly formal setting."
"Fine, Brooke," He said.
"Thank you," Brooke grinned. "Now, I really do have to go, or else I'm going to be late. I'll catch you later, right?"
Without waiting for an answer, she jumped into her car and drove away.
He sighed and went back into the cafe to resume his reading.
