@Lavy-the-Nerdy-Sci-Fi-Birdy
Okay, we've got six characters so far (5 if you exclude the one for plot) Should we close.)
Okay, we've got six characters so far (5 if you exclude the one for plot) Should we close.)
(Sure, if you would like.)
Let's wait till @PuffPoff gets back to close. THat way more people can join if they want.
(Also, i feel like i should mention that there is kind of a cyberpunk aesthetic)
(Ooh, I love cyberpunk aesthetic!)
Sounds good!
I'm here on and off but I still think we could wait for more people
k
I'm here
Same. Should we start?
Well, your the creator of this role play! Start whenever you want.
(Okay. just wanted to see if that was cool with everyone.)
Ariana walked out of the courthouse. Still no word of her sister. Ariana's sister Auriel had been a part of the recon team that had gone up to check surface conditions. Turning down a street, she continued to fume. Why wouldn't they tell anyone anything?
Will walked quickly down the street, hugging her arms to herself. Still no word of her brother. She saw Ariana walking her way, and gasped. "Ariana! Please tell me you have word!" she pleaded.
Ariana turned to face her. "Still no word! Oh they said they'd 'look in to it', but they've been saying that for 2 months now!"
Yeon was out in a field like area with a few other boys his age, playing a game of soccer. They all seemed to be dressed in older clothing. He lived in something like a slums area. It was almost a terrible stereotype come to life from what the world used to be, caucasians up in their nice houses while mixed people like him were left for scraps (Sorry to anyone if you get offended by that, it’s just my character’s point of thought. I am Hispanic, but I don’t think in that way at all!). Yeon shot a soccer ball into a makeshift goal, whooping and hollaring with his teammates, earning him slaps on the back.
Nathan sat in his small apartment, staring out the open window. Still no news of the recon team. He wrote down his thoughts in the small pocket notebook he carried around. I should probably go ask around and see if anyone knows anything. Nathan looked back out the window. I'd rather not socialize.
(It's fine @urban. The segregation is a good idea. Goes with the plot a bit)
(Alright, good to know!)
Renata paced around her bedroom for a long time before deciding to go outside to go on a walk instead. She carried her backpack which contained a book, a journal, and a pencil.
One of Yeon’s teammates took him to the ground, and Yeon slapped the boy off him. “You’re going to get my one clean shirt dirty, estúpido!” He exclaimed, having a slightly thick accent when he spoke. He gave his friend a sharp punch in the shoulder before hopping back to his feet.
Nathan shut the window, causing saw dust to fall on him. His apartment was small and falling apart, and he had just finished fixing the window a few days ago. He coughed as he put his notebook and pencil in his boot.
(@Nzuzo Ariana's waiting for Will to say something)
“Debo irme, a Maisy no le gusta estar sola por mucho tiempo,” Yeon said to the group, having to run home to check on his dog. He jogged from the field, having to cut through some of the few nicer streets before he got to his ratty apartment building.
A automated voice intoned over the city in several languages. "All citizens, report to living quarters it is 7:30 p.m. REM will commence at 8:00 p.m. All citizens out of their apartments, will detained for the night. Thank you."
Yeon groaned, just about a quarter mile from his apartment complex, so he broke into a swift jog. He didn’t care much for the AI. He felt controlled, and he wished that they could go above ground already.
Renata rolled her eyes and groaned. She had walked pretty far from home already. She turned around and set back out towards her apartment.
