“To the lake,” Elisa pointed in the lakes direction “I’ve been out of water too long”

( YIPPEE!) " Do you want me to come with you?" She asked in a concerned voice.

“Um… I think I’ll be ok” Elisa said awkwardly, hands to her chest

“S-see you around” finger guns

She smiled in a sad way watching her friend go back to the lake. " There I go again..Alone." She thought to herself as she put her head down on her knees.

Damian silently stood beside Lizzy, crouching down and resting a hand on her shoulder.

"Stai bene?" He cleared his throat, "Sorry, are you okay?"

His voice was rough from not being used in so long, a worried expression etched across his face.

Elisa walked away from Lizzy, towards the lake, feeling stupid ‘Ugh I was so weird!’ She mentally facepalms herself

Lizzy looked at Damien, noticing his muscles (aha so cringey) “..No” She sniffled

"What happened?" He asked, now that he had settled a bit, his accent started to show more.

She chuckled bitterly “It’s nothing..” She stared into her hands, twiddling her thumbs “It’s already been a week here, and I haven’t made a single friend”

Damian nodded, thinking for a moment before replying.

"I could be your friend," He offered, looking around and then back at the girl next to him, "If you want."

She looked up at him hopefully “That would be nice…”

Nope, he doesn't really have friends either xD That and he think's she seems interesting.

Damian nodded, silencing himself yet again and sitting next to her.
