(Ack sorry for not doing this sooner! Been a little busy dksanvn)
Name: Ashley Sparks
Age: Fifteen
Sexuality: Straight
Appearance: Ashley is sort of tall, with an athletic build, fair skin, and curly, bright orange hair. She has freckles, and her eyes are a brilliant blue.
Usual Outfit: Blue hoodie, jeans, and blue converse. She doesn't normally accessorize, either, though she could wear earrings if she wanted to.
Personality: Ashley is very much the "hero" type; utterly firm in her moral beliefs, willing to fight if she believes something is wrong, and very confident in her abilities. Her loyalty to those she cares about is unwavering, and she would never even dream of leaving a friend behind in their time of need. However, this can lead to stretching herself extremely thin and she tends to blame herself when things go wrong. Ashley is also stubborn as a damn mule, and is viewed by many as arrogant(and they're not exactly wrong either)
Lucy sighed and pulled down her hood. She then put her white beanie on. Lucy thought the way the white made her raven colored hair stick out was cool. "So……….um, what's your name? Mine's Lucy.", Lucy asked looking up at the older girl.
( @Holly_Jolly_Cloudy & @merry-crisis do you want to walk into the scenario?)
Ashley had been sitting on the roof of the building that Orion had decided to climb. She had earbuds in and was humming along to the music, dangling her legs off the edge of the roof, oblivious to the events that had transpired below. Her eyes were aimed at the sky, and her lips were turned upwards in a smile.
Orion pulled herself up over the lip of the roof, catching sight of Ashley. She lunged forward, pushed Ashely off the edge, and caught her by her collar.
"This is my roof," she said, watching Ashley dangle from her grasp. "Honestly, when will I ever get a break?"
Estella was seated atop the building across the street from Orion, watching with amusement as the other girl dangled from the roof. She caught Ashley's eye and waved, her blue eyes sparkling and a grin spread across her face. "Hello!" she shouted, jumping to her feet.
Lucy headed up on the roof and looked at the girls. 'Uh oh', she thought. Social interactions were not her thing. "Um…Hello….", she said while looking down. Not wanting to offend any of the girls.
Ashley yelped in surprise, eyes wide as, in the heat of the moment, she forgot she had the power of flight. She spluttered, legs kicking wildly. "Whatthefu–whatareyou–" she stammered, breathing picking up considerably. "I didn't know! Jesus!" she exclaimed when the initial shock wore off and she could actually get words out.
Lucy, not knowing Ashley couldn't fly, had her vines grab Ashley and pull her back on the roof and another hold Orion back. "Calm down!", she ordered but then realized what she had done.
Anastasia looked up as all the girls were now on the roof. "Seriously, what is up with everyone today and roofs?" She said as she started climbing the building, but then stopped as she opened the window near the roof and entered. Moments later she reappeared with something and jumped onto the roof. "Hate to break it to ya, but you guys are kinda on my roof." She then looked at Lucy. "Anastasia."
"This is your roof?" Orion glanced at her. "Nice try. I've claimed it first so you all can fuck off. And if you think I won't fight you for it, think again." She pulled a knife out of her sleeve.
"NO!", Lucy yelled when Orion pulled out a knife. "W-We don't have to fight guys." Lucy didn't enjoy fighting and she couldn't stand people getting hurt. "Let's just cool down."
Estella sighed, pouting as she looked at the shouting girl. "You're too loud," she shouted. "Calm," she whispered, flicking her hand towards Lucy. The girl was now silenced, and anything she did made no sound, no matter how hard she tried. "That's better, now, isn't it?" Estella grinned, her purple hair blowing in the wind.
"Since when? Because I've been on this roof for about…" She paused and looked around. "Since I was five at the very least. So kindly fuck off and find a different roof." She snarled as she glared at Orion. She looked at Lucy and shot her an unapologetic smile.
Lucy smiled back not noticing the true message behind it. She couldn't speak so she just sat down. She looked at Estella and pointed to her mouth.
Estella grinned, raising an eyebrow and shaking her head. "I'll undo it when I feel like it," she shouted above the noise of the street below. "You were being kinda annoying, so I had t'do it."
Ashley picked herself up off the roof and dusted herself off. "What, have you been living here or something? I just wanted to chill, but if it's your place I can leave." She didn't really feel like fighting anyone right now, and especially not over something as petty as this.
"If you're talking to me, then yes. I have been living here. Not exactly on the roof, but in one of the apartments in this building. I don't mind if any of you guys are on it, but her," She said as she pointed to Orion. "She has to leave. Unless she puts her fucking knife away and tries to be more civil."
"It's not exactly a big deal. This is just the Apex. I don't suppose you know about it. I swore to protect it with my life." Orion shrugged. "If you won't open the Apex or attempt to destroy it, I'll leave you alone. I'm willing to bet one of you knows what the Apex is." She gestured with the knife at the group on the roof.
"Apex?" She asked, but then groaned. "Oh no, the girl is talking in math terms now. Great." Anastasia sat on the edge and swung her feet back and forth as she looked down at everybody that was passing by. "What exactly are all of you? Humans? Not exactly humans?"
"Orion Minerva, supernatural bounty-hunter, pleased to make your acquaintance." She put her knife back in its sheath and held out her hand to Anastasia. "Contrary to your belief, I am perfectly civil. And to answer your question, I am not a human being the way you think about it."
Anastasia looked at Orion and shook her hand. "Anastasia Ford. Supernatural bounty-hunter, eh? That's interesting." She looked down at her watch and frowned. "That's cool. I'm not a human either. I may look like one, but I'm not. Really grateful that my kind looks like humans."
Ashley tilted her head. "Uh. No, I've never even heard of whatever this Apex thing is. I'm Ashley Sparks, and, well, I'm not exactly sure what I am." She'd always wondered about that, actually. Some kind of elemental, maybe? With her abilities concerning air and fire, it was possible, but Ashley never really bothered to actually look into it.
"Alright. Listen. I'll make you a deal," she said, addressing Anastasia. "You can stay here as long as I can check in from time to time on the Apex." She pushed up her sleeves and said, "Alright?"
