Mia started singing to herself softly, balancing on the rocks are she walked.
Mia started singing to herself softly, balancing on the rocks are she walked.
Sheilah quietly swished after the girl, listening to the human. She had a pretty voice.
(can we swear?)
Ye, go ahead. Not too much though, please! :)//
(no, i was just wondering cause it's gonna slip out)
Mia got a little sidetracked singing, and lost her footing. "Fuck," She said as she started falling. Well, if I die, at least I'll see Mum and Nate again, She thought.
Sheileh darted under the human. Her instincts told her to drown the human, but she couldn't. Instead, she grabbed the girl and brought her up so she could breathe. Sheileh looked around, the surface was clear. She swam up to the edge, lying the girl down. She looked at the human, knowing she should go back before she was seen, but unable to.
Mia woke up, coughing. She spluttered the water out of her mouth, taking deep breaths. See you another time then I guess.
Sheileh flinched back, shuffling back, trying to duck back into the water before the human saw her. She glanced back as she struggled down.
Mia looked at the water just as something bluey purple disappeared. "Hey!" She yelled.
Sheileh popped her head out to her eyes, curiosity getting the better of her. She looked at the human, eye wide
"Come closer!"
(gonna post your superhero character?)
Working on it, sorry!//
Sheileh inched a bit closer, not going too close. Her tail was still fairly well hidden.
"What's your name?"
"Sheileh," she answered, rising her head out of the water, "What's yours?" she asked the human, her head tilting a little.
"Mia Storm. Some friends call me Stormy, if I had some."
Without thinking, Sheileh blurted, "I could be your friend," What was she thinking?! A friend with a human?!
Mia looked up, surprised. "You….would do that?"
Sheileh nodded enthusiastically, "Yeah!" she grinned, splashing a little closer. She quickly reminded herself to hide her tail and fins, ducking into the water again.
Mia walked to the edge and sat down. "Where do you live, Sheileh?"
Crap, how was she supposed to answer this? "Uh, my family is on… vacation, so we're living at a beach house right now," Sheileh lied, biting her lip. She maneuvered around to hide her fish-like areas.
"The beach houses are under construction right now. You wouldn't be able to stay in them."
Sorry! I accidentally deleted my last reply! ᐧ - ᐧ//
Darn it, "Oh? I wan't talking about the ones near here. I, I meant one a town or two away from here. We just come here to hang out, since this beach is way better," this wasn't going well.
"What are you talking about? You only go to this beach if you live around here. It's not that good, unless you know the best places to go. And a visitor wouldn't know those places."
This was just getting worse and worse. She started to retreat beck into the water, her face warm from embarrassment. Sheileh shrugged, "Well, my grandparents live around here, so that may be another reason we come here. They don't like going to other towns and cities."
