James was startled at Addie's sudden fall, but did as he was told. He scooped her light body into his arms and ran after Bree.

A few minutes later, the group arrived at a small building. The sign above the door read "Smithy's Apothecary: You Hurt it, We Heal it."
Bree walked in and warmly greeted the older gentleman behind the desk with a smile. "Uncle Smithy! It's so good to see you!" She walked over and embraced him in a hug, which he returned with a smile on his face.
Smithy seemed to then notice the body James held and led them into a back room where he told James to put down the body, he did so with care.
Drina watched everything unfold. She didn't follow them to the doctor. It was her fault. She didn't want to be there.

"So, what happened here?" Smithy asked Bree as Addie was laid on the table.
"Uh, I think she was poisoned," Bree answered, looking to James and Drina for confirmation. When they nodded, she continued. "Yes, she was. She bit into a poisoned apple (I'm just realizing how cliche this is, lol), but she said that she'd built up an immunity to poisons, so I don't know why she would have fainted."
Smithy nodded, then muttered under his breath, "Poison, eh? Let's see which kind." He bent down, opened Addie's mouth, and smelled her breath. As soon as he smelled it, his head shot up. Eyes wild, he demanded, "Somebody grab the blue and gold vial on that shelf and give it to me, quickly."
Drina quickly did has he asked. "What is it?" she questioned quietly.
(Ok, I've gtg for today.)
( awww bye )
( THATS SO COOL! I live in the states. But I go back and fourth to Africa a lot. )
Nice! I lived in Malawi for nine years before I moved, where abouts in Africa do you usually go?
"Sir, I believe it's Belladonna. I saw traces of it in the apple."
Drina stepped back. Belladonna? She looked at her feet and crossed her arms, feeling very uncomfortable. Was this her fault?
( Around Uganda and Kenya! I lived in Uganda for a couple of months a few years back )
(Cool! I've never been but my brother went to Nairobi for MUN and my dad went back just a month ago for work! It sounds great! I've never been to Uganda!)
(sings I'm baaack!)
"Belladona?" Smithy mused. "Hm, I was going to say Red-death. Let me see the apple. We don't have much time, so hurry!"
James quickly gave the apple, and watched Smithy examine it intently.
Drina couldn't watch anymore. She felt to guilty. Without a word, she left the room and sat outside, her head in her hands.
James watched as Drina left the room, Figuring that the doctor had it covered, and would call for him if needed he headed out after her.
"Hey, are you okay?" He asked her and he sat beside her on the ground.
Drina nodded, and sniffed. "It's my fault." she whispered. "They were my apples."
"Of course its not! How could her stealing your apples have anything to do with you! If it's anyone's fault it's the person who was selling the apples." He pulled her into his side so that she could cry into his shoulder. "You couldn't have done anything to prevent her getting poisoned, I promise."
