((OH shiiiiiiiiiiit))
Morgan led them back through the tower before stopping in the theater. "Pick something. I've got the snacks."
Thomas nodded and leaned down, pecking her on the lips before walking to where the movies were stored, pursing his lips before grabbing Batman VS Superman and putting it in the player, settling down in a seat while he waited for Morgan
Morgan returned with an arm load of snacks. She chuckled at the movie selection, "You'd think as superheros, you'd get a little desensitized to it all, but I love this movie." She plopped herself down on one of the chairs, dumping half the snacks onto Thomas.
Thomas grunted as he was suddenly laden with snacks. He moved them to the empty seat next to him and moved an arm around Morgan's shoulders as the movie started, "If anything it makes them more awesome" he said, "This way we can enjoy the fight rather than worry about not dying"
"But that makes it half the fun." Morgan teased, reaching over him for a bag of spicy chips. She settled into the warm space between his arm and his body, for once not worrying about anything.
Thomas smiled at her, snatching a chip from her bag and eating it before returning his gaze to the movie, smiling innocently
Morgan poked him in the ribs, wanting to zap him with a bit of lightning, but the power she summoned was sucked immediately into the jewel. She frowned, surprised and a little mortified. This stone rendered her human and she was unsure how she felt about that. She looked back towards the screen, sitting stiffly, but still had the wherewithall to tuck her head against Thomas' shoulder. She'd worry about it later…
Thomas noticed the change and looked down at her, frowning, "You alright?" He asked quietly, worried
"I'm–" She paused mid sentence, gaze darting between Thomas and the screen. "Still getting used to being…normal." The last word came out sounding strangled, but she smiled nonetheless.
Thomas smiled and pecked her lips, "Well, being normal takes some getting used to" he joked, kissing her cheek lightly
She snorted, lips tingling as her mutation attempted to work furiously against the jewel. "T when was the last time you were normal? Four maybe 5 years old?"
"Eleven" he said, smiling, "But Im still pretty much, quote, normal. I just have some extra adjustments" he chuckled
I'm backing out of this//
Okay? Is everything alright?//
((shooooooooooooot. Our bad guyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy))
Morgan hummed, peeking at a wing over his shoulder. "I've been curious–" She started a wicked gleam in her eye that made her look almost too much like her father. "Wings are one adjustment. Has anything else been adjusted that i should know about?"
Thomas' eyebrow raised and his mouth formed a slight 'o', "Well, uh, er, yeah" he admitted, "Just… yeah. More than just the wings" he said, smiling crookedly
Morgan couldn't help the blush that stained her high cheekbones. She ignored it as best she could though. It was strange not to hear his thoughts and her hand fluttered up to the jewel, ready to remove it so she could use her powers, but she hesitated. "Is that right? Like strength obviously…" She trailed off, waiting for him to fill in the rest.
"Yeah, strength and… and other things" Thomas said, scratching the back of his head nervously, popping a few skittles into his mouth in an attempt to distract himself
Morgan's grinned turned into something feline in its mischievousness, but she looked up at Thomas through her lashes, looking positively doll like and innocent. "You won't tell me?"
Thomas was sure that his whole face was just Scarlett, "Er, well, not… not here, no." He shuddered, "It's, ah, not something I discuss in public… or with a lot of, Um, people"
Morgan's fingers twitched against the jewel, ready to yank it off to satisfy her curiosity, but she couldn't. Not with so much skin to skin contact they had at the moment. "But it's just us here." She said instead, peaking around the Avenger's theater. "I get it though. Secrets are secrets." she wiggled her brows at him before popping a piece of chocolate in her mouth and turning back to the screen.
Thomas let out a breath and pulled her close, "Maybe a bit later" he murmured, smiling and kissing her cheek before turning back to the screen
Morgan hummed, fingers flicking the jewel. Her cheeks burned at the thoughts that were going through her own mind, she couldn't imagine what was going through his. The more she thought about it though, the more she didn't want to be anywhere but right here. Nothing could ruin this moment.
