(hi so sorry for not responding!)
Jasper tried to pull away from Morgans grasp. He twisted away, putting distance between them, he need more time…just a few more minutes. He kicked and punched, trying to hide time
Morgan grinned, she could sense him a lot better now that she had gotten her hands on him. She was able to block most of his attacks and land a few of her own. She allowed a long red coil of magic to unwind from her hand and then flicked it up like a whip, catching it around Jasper's ankle.
Chesh watched as Morgan latched a strand of magic onto Jasper's ankle. She knew they weren't hurting each other but it still unnerved her that people fought like this for fun. Would it be bad if she helped Jasper? She tried to get the strand of magic to float off of Jasper's ankle.
He gasped in pain as the whip wrapped itself around his ankle. "Getting creative Morgan?" He laughed as he ran in a circle around her, knowing that she couldn't track him like that. He ran towards one of the corners of the building, trying to snaps the whip.
Morgan grinned, "Well you're not making it as easy as Thomas." She gave the whip a mighty yank, pulling him towards her. She gave him a couple gentler punches, when he was in range. "No cheating, Chesh." She threw over her shoulder at the girl.
While she glanced over her shoulder, Jasper took the chance kick her in the stomach and uppercut her throat and chin, smiling a thanks to Chesh and loosening the whip around his ankle and escaping
Morgan tumbled backward, cursing as she landed on her back. Rookie mistake. If Natasha had seen that, I would have been dead. She lay there for a moment, head pounding, trying to focus on getting up. She rumbled a temple absently. I should tap out. Get out of here. I'm going to lose my mind… She hated to give up, to give in to her stupid weakness, but she would have to or else she'd go catatonic. It had happened before many years ago. If I can make it through this fight I can spar with Kydah. She will help. She always does…
Morgan arched her back and flipped up off the ground. "No more games Jas," she bit out from behind clenched teeth. "Come fight like an Avenger."
Owen watched them fighting from the comfort of the couch under his blanket.
"not an Avenger darling, I'm.my own person. No one controls me, no traps me, and no one certainly doesn't tell me to do." He needed a few more moments before she burst. Come on Jasper, hold out a few more moments he ran across the yard trying to blend in with the others until she broke down. He knew this would be no victory for him but he was sick and tired of being called "the kid", "invisible." This was his chance to prove to them that he was more than a name in the wind
Morgan continued to frown, picking up on the last half of his thoughts through the clamor in her mind. "Jasper…" She said softly, pulling completely out of a fighting stance. Her legs wobbled and she stumbled. Crap. "No one thinks of you like that. At least none of us." She paused as she tried to look for him spinning in place, but her vision was blurring. Crap crap. The pain was intense, but she ignored it. Her friend was more important.
"I know this is all new and weird and we're all mismatched coming from broken pasts, but we're trying to make it work. Family doesn't happen overnight." She sighed, bracing her temples with the heels of her hands. She smiled through it all, her inner Tony coming out, "You do turn invisible you know…so it would be weird if we didn't call you that."
Morgan grinned, "Well you're not making it as easy as Thomas." She gave the whip a mighty yank, pulling him towards her. She gave him a couple gentler punches, when he was in range. "No cheating, Chesh." She threw over her shoulder at the girl.
Chesh flinched. So it was bad. What was the word she called it? Cheating? Cheating. She liked that word. She saw Morgan stumble as if something hit her. Most likely Jasper. She heard Jasper yell something about not being owned or trapped. She heard him run. What happened? He seemed…angry? Determined? Upset? Yeah! Upset sounded like the right word. Was he OK? Chesh got up. "Jasper?" She yelled.
Kydah walked over to Chesh and pat her on the shoulder. "This tends to happen a lot, they have hormones and such." She whispered, sounding disgusted with the word hormones. As a siren, she didn't have hormones.
He would hold out. he turned to face her, ready for the unleash of her power. He turned at the mention of his name, but not saying anything back, worried that Morgan would track him. "so having fun?" he said as he weaved through the crowd
(Crowd?)
Chesh looked at Kydah weird. "I don't think that's what's happening." She said. She looked a Morgan. She was in pain. She ran over to Morgan. "Are you OK?" She said running up to her.
Morgan jumped as Chesh seemed to suddenly appear by her side. Or maybe she just wasn't paying attention. "Yea, yea. I'm fine. I just need to take a break." She blinked at the other girl owlishly patting her gently on the head, before abruptly turning away. "Jas…I'm sorry I have to go." She bit out over her shoulder at where she assumed he was moving around. She passed Thomas, their eyes meeting for what seemed like an eternity before she grabbed Kydah's hand and tugged her out of the courtyard.
Kydah gave a smile, a concerned one. "You okay? And, just sparing today?" She asked as she was pulled, her purple coloration spreading to her entire body and covering her in a armor like state.

Thomas met her gaze, then ran after her, "Hey! Morgan! Wait!" he called, flapping his wings a couple of times to catch up, "Can we talk for a second?" he asked, jerking his finger backwards towards the now-empty field. He knew she needed to release her powers, and had an idea.
Noooooo, it's Kydah's turn with the Morgan!//

Is Kydah the one with the casual unrequited love? I cant remember//
Maybe, I haven't decided.//

Ah, okay. I'll let you have your moment then. Give me a second….

REWRITE Because I can//
Thomas met her gaze. He wanted to approach her, but she seemed busy with Kydah. He'd wait until they were done. Swallowing, the boy flapped his wings a couple of times and flew into the air towards the tower, landing on the roof.
Kydah gave a smile, a concerned one. "You okay? And, just sparing today?" She asked as she was pulled, her purple coloration spreading to her entire body and covering her in a armor like state.
"I need a release." Morgan said as she stomped them to the elevator and pressed "B10". Tony had built in the deep deep subfloor just for occasions like these and Kydah was the only other person Morgan had invited down there. "Ugh. I've been so stupid, Kydah. Trying to test out how long I can hold back. Dad told me not to, but I can't keep being a slave to my powers." She leaned against the elevator wall as they went down, eyes closed.
