"I know but I was so scared I'm still scared" she said

“I don’t blame you.” he said, remembering some of what she went through. ”Poor guy.” he added softly.

She sighed " I should call him" she said

Evan nodded. ”Probably. I know he’d like it.”

She nodded kissing his head she got up grabbing her phone she walked out of the room calling him

Evan smiled and watched her leave the room, trying not to eavesdrop.

Lysander sighed a little when his phone rang, a little hesitant to pick it up. ”Hello?” he asked, sounding a little melancholy.

" Hey Romeo" she said into the phone

”Angel?” Lysander perked up at her voice.

"Hey" she said

”Hi.” he smiled a little. ”Is everything alright?”

" yeah I just wanted to say goodnight and that your all invited to dinner tomorrow" she said

”Oh. Ok. Well, I'm glad you called.” he told her. ”Umm… when you say ”all invited”, you mean me and Henry, right?” he asked, knowing how she reacted to the three guests.

"They can come Ly " she said

”You mean… you're ok with Kam, Lilly, and Jake being with us for a dinner?” he asked nervously.

"Yes" she said lightly gritting her teeth at the nickname

He raised a brow at her tone. ”I’m sorry, love. I didn't mean to upset you.”

She sighed, I know I'm sorry" she said leaning against the wall

”It’s alright, darling.” he said. ”You know I love you, right?”

"uh, um, Yeah" she said

”Good.” he sighed softly in relief. ”Because I know I've messed up with us before and I’m so very very sorry. Even though you have every right and reason to be afraid of me… of what I am, I don't want you to be.”

She nodded sometimes she thought he was pretending to love her "okay…"

He wasn't aware of that thought but his love for her was completely genuine. There was no need for him to try to pretend when he loved her so completely. He sighed a little at her answer, feeling like she didn't believe him. ”Okay…” As much as he missed her already, he wasn't going to ask her to come home if she wasn't ready.

"So I'll see you tomorrow?" She asked
