Lysander bit his lip nervously. He hated when they fought and he didn't always know how to make up for it. ”I’m sorry, love.” he said softly.

She whimpered

He looked at her in concern at that sound and unbuckled himself before sliding over to her. ”Darling, what’s wrong?” he asked gently, placing a hand on her shoulder.

" my tail hurts" she said

”Probably from the long ride, right?” he suggested.

She nodded wrapping her arms around him

He returned the hug gently. ”It’s alright, love. The hotel is right there. We’ll be out of the car soon.” he encouraged.

Tyler pulled into the parking lot and Betty quickly got out through the sunroof

Lysander smiled at his wive and carefully helped her out.

Henry held back from bolting out the door as soon as the car stopped but he still exited a bit too quickly.

Betty was quickly at the front desk

"Name?"

"Castevau and darling" she said quickly and handed the key to her in bed he darted to the room

Lysander had gone to the back row of the car and unbuckled the kids, carrying both of them out.

Henry headed to the truck and started grabbing the suitcases and taking them to the room.

Betty was in the bed asleep

Henry smiled at his sister and quietly put down the bags before catching up with Ly and Tyler. ”Hey, kids. Your aunt Betty is asleep right now, so you'll have to be very quiet once you’re in the room. Ok?” he said, taking Asher into his arms.

"ok daddy" Asher said

Henry smiled at the little boy. He was sure he’d never get tired of hearing Asher call him that.

With Henry's help, Lysander was able to bring the rest of the luggage into the room.

Betty had shifted so she was a white wolf with a red star around the white fur on her eye and a green streak on her body

Lysander looked at her lovingly but was confused by the green stripe she now had. ”Tyler? Do you know what that means?” he asked quietly.

" that's her shapeshifter mark" she said

”You told us that's what the star was.” Lysander pointed out, a little confused.

"yeah well she kind of has 2 marks the star just signifies that she killed a shapeshifter the Green Street mean she has his powers" Tyler said

”Oh… right.” Lysander nodded.

Betty opened her eyes tiredly

Lysander smiled at her and sat on the bed next to her.

Laura-Beth worked her way out of her daddy's arms and crawled on the bed over to her wolf mama.

Betty stretched her paws out in front of her and her head tilted up like she was going to howl

”Bets… I wouldn't.” Henry warned. ”There’s too many humans around. Hearing a wolf howl would draw too much attention.”
