She smiled nuzzling into him more

He chuckled softly at the gesture, tempted to pick her up but he decided to wait for now. ”Do you want to say goodbye to anyone before we leave?”

She grabbed the ring box off the table putting it in the pocket in his tux and then shook her head

He smiled at her little act of bravery, as he thought of it, and kissed her forehead before leading her out of the building.

She smiled up at him " you know I love you right?"

”I love you too.” he smiled at her.

"good" she hummed

He chuckled and held her closer as they continued to walk.

She closed her eyes leaning into him

”Tired?” he asked with a smile.

She nodded Gently

He stopped walking for a moment to pick her up, carrying her back home.

She smiled nuzzling into him

He hummed contentedly and opened the door of their house. ”We can go to that cabin tomorrow.” he whispered.

She nodded tiredly

He carried her inside, shut the door behind them and headed up the stairs to their room.

Once she got to the bed she curled up into the fabric

He smiled and kissed her good night before taking her mother's ring out of his pocket and changing out of his suit.

She snuggled up the fabric

He came back wearing a pair of comfy sweatpants and a soft t-shirt and climbed into bed next to his wife.

she turned cuddling into his side

He smiled and embraced her gently. ”Sweet dreams, my angel.” he whispered.

She layed her head on his chest

He rested his cheek on top of her head and closed his eyes.
