”No point? How about that we love each other. Even before Marie and Alec showed up in our lives again. I loved you then and if anything I love you more now.” he said genuinely. ”I’m not going to give up on the wonderful woman who just saved my life.”

He sighed and laid back down. ”Maybe at first, I would have… but she’s changed. She’s not the same girl I thought I loved nor am I the shy smitten little farmer's boy she made eyes at.” he told her. ”It wouldn’t work between me and her anymore.”

”I’m sorry you feel that way but I do want you here. I need to know that you’re safe right now.” he told her. ”If Alec is still out there… I don't want him to try and take you. I can’t protect you right now.” he said, referring to his weak mobility.

She growled leaving the room and the house slamming the door behind her she was angry yeah she was angry she just stared a girl to shreds and no one seemed to understand that but her she felt useless so she did the only thing she knew how to she left she disappeared it been a month maybe 2 months and she still wasn't back

Lysander wanted to go after her but he knew he wouldn't be able to move enough to even get out of the bed for the rest of the day. He’d be lucky to make it downstairs without falling right now. Then he would need to hunt before he was back to normal and by then it was not easy to find her. Once he recovered, he started searching all over for her. When the first month rolled around Lysander was scared that Alec had taken her. Still fueled by that concern and a little anger towards Alec, he kept searching finally coming to the lake.

Lysander came to the lake multiple times in the past two months hoping to find her or one of her brothers to help him. He just wanted her home. His hunting and feeding had become erratic; sometimes he would hunt twice a week, sometimes it would be closer to every other week.
He had torn people to bloody pieces in a fit of some kind before, mostly in battle, but he hadn't thought of how he felt during the first time in many years.
