(Okay where were we cause I have no idea)
(You can just have Tara come home)
(Oki.)
Tara turned to Darren once they got back to Tara and Abby's apartment. "Thanks." She said softly, avoiding Darren's eyes.
“Are you sure you’re going to be okay?”
"No reason I shouldn't be, right?" Tara answered finally.
“Right,” he nodded,”Call… if you need anything,” he felt like something was off but didn’t want to pry.
Tara nodded. "I will, I promise."
“Alright…” he took a step back, “Love you… talk to you later?”
Abby heard voices outside their apartment door. "Tara must be back," she said softly to River.
River nodded and looked to the door, "Yep. Does that mean it's time for me to go?"
Abby nodded but shuddered slightly at the thought of meeting Erik, or even him coming back. "I guess so."
River looked at her worriedly, "I won't go if you don't want me too. If your worried about, um, him. then I'll stay until your not."
"You can go if you need to," Abby replied softly, not quite meeting his gaze.
"I don't need to," River responded.
"Okay," Abby smiled delicately. She knew that Tara would be coming in soon, but she didn't want River to leave either.
River nodded he let out a soft sigh. He was sort of curious what Tara would think of this.
"They're taking their time," Abby noted. She'd bug Tara about that. "What do you think she'll say?" Abby was suddenly worried, surveying the room, looking mainly at the coffee table.
"I don't know, maybe I should clean that up?"
"We won't have time," Abby pointed out.
"Oh yeah," River said, "So uh what now?"
Abby shrugged and looked at him. She kind of wanted to kiss him again, but she also didn't want to tell him that.
River shrugged back and leaned back against the couch. He closed his eyes and exhaled a large amount of air.
(I’ll go with you)
Abby grinned and watched the door. Tara should be coming any… moment…
(What?)
