Rouge just looked away and teleported to her room

hiro sighed shuttering from all the pain she was hideing. she wiped tears from her eyes. " just hide this from mason… and silas." hiro thought.

hiro woke up the next day and went to her all day gymnastics contest.

Silas walked around quietly looking for someone he knew.

hiro was trying her elk magic she teliported ontop of rouge. " AHH, ROUGE IM SO SORRY!"

Silas heard yelling as he passed Rouge's dorm and stopped. "Rouge? You okay?" He asked knocking slightly.

Rouge jolted awake and rubbed her eyes still somewhat out of it and murrmered "Oh hey little puppy"

hiro bride of her nose turned blue. " im sorry rose!" she said quickly.

hiro tryed to get off of rouge but she couldn't. hiro rolled off of rouge.

Silas knocked again. "Rouge?" He heard a small thud of someone hitting the floor.

Mason poked his head out his dorm door. "Silas? What's going on?" He went over to him. "This'll seem random but do you know sign language?" He asked, rubbing his hands together.

"I have no clue, and I know some." He said turning. "Why?"

Mason shrugged. "Just in case. Also it's kinda annoying to wear these all the time." He tapped his hearing aids.

Silas nodded. "Okay, well I know a bit. What are you doing?" He asked in a conversational manner.

"I've been researching all night. About the gang that attacked the school. I think I've figured it out." Mason said, yawning.

"You were up all night!?" He cried.

"Yep. I do it a lot." Mason said

"Dude, you're gonna kill yourself if it isn't too late." He said concerned.

"Nah" Mason laughed. "That's how my power works, sound gives me energy and I have a choice whether to use that energy as an explosion. Only problem, I'm deaf and I can only hear if I'm wearing these. I've been wearing them all night and they're starting to get annoying. That's why I asked if you knew sign language."

He nodded. "Well as long as you don't kill yourself." He replied.

"I won't." He took his hearing aids out and put them in a small box in his pocket. I'm not that tired.

Silas hesitated but then went with it. Well that's good at least. he signed.

Mason gasped. Someone who signs! Finally. My Father can't even sign.

I hear that it's common not to sign. In most mortal families at least. he signed back.
