(Who? Would? Go? Towards? The? Sentient? Tree? And? The? Humanoid? Worm?)
(Fuck it I’ll do it)
(I see someone’s losing braincells for the sake of keeping everyone here alive)
(Respect)
(Neither of them are near asani! theyre on the opposite side of the clearing. Which means people would be running towards asani anyway!)
(what)
(Just save asani before everything is dangerous. )
(Avhira. Liz already has a handle on it so the laws of science are allowed to exist again :))
Harper turned to the sentient tree as it grew louder. What the fuck?! She could barely hear anything else now. She took in the rest of the chaos that was happening over there… surrounding a little girl bleeding out. She would much rather get away from the chaos, but…
Harper ignores her conscience, running into the midst of the chaos straight to the little girl. She kneels down next to the girl, cutting a piece of cloth from her own overcoat.
(banging my head on a table stop arguing you’re almost as bad as rice and google maps)
(inhaleswell now that Avhira no longer has reason to yell at us in
bold italics-)
Asani moved a little bit. "A-are y-you going t-to hurt me too?" she whispered, opening her eyes.
(Okay I’ll shut up now)
(inhaleswell now that Avhira no longer has reason to yell at us in
Spoiler - click to show.very very unnecessarybold italics-)
(sorry… i felt ignored… i don't like being ignored…)
Harper looked down at Asani. “No, child. But… stopping your bleeding might hurt.” She presses the cloth against the wound, putting on pressure to stop the bleeding. “My brother is better at this than I am, could use him right about now-“ She’s trying to talk about things to distract Asani, and herself, from everything around them.
(Alrighty now let’s all agree never to harm the overpowered child again 💀)
(Please)
Asani already felt better, and was able to reign her chaos in, turning most things normal again. "i'm sorry.."
Harper let out a relieved sigh when things started turning normal. “It’s alright. Not your fault you got stabbed for no damn reason.” She looks down at the wound covered by the piece of cloth. “I don’t have anything to close the wound, so we’ll have to keep pressure on the wound till it stops bleeding. And then- don’t move too much.”
Salmook wasn't sure exactly how to feel. These… almost people that hardly knew him seemed so blood-bent on helping him.
Why? He didn't think he was particularly special, at least not enough to start all this fighting.
Naveil grumbled a few native swears under his breath, turning the opposite way. Salmook was just glad he couldn't understand them.
"You. Follow."
Salmook felt that in his bones, and he could tell there was something else Naveil wanted to add to that. It wasn't exactly a threat in words, but in voice. Salmook didn't want to follow, but there was no telling how close Naveil was to losing it. He stood there, conflicted.
Resh glanced up from sharpening his knife, staring at Naveil. Well, that didn’t last long. He watched Naveil and Salmook, taking care to make it seem like he was still looking down. He let out a low growl, barely audible to anyone else in the clearing.
Juni watched Naveil and Salmook as well, although she wasn’t trying to hide it. She still looked a little scared and tense. She noticed Resh growling, but didn’t react. She knew he was watching this, too.
Asani nodded. "I know." She said, looking at the wound. "I d-didn't k-know th-they would stab me.. I sh-should have b-been prepared and p-prevented this.."
Harper looks at Asani, slightly confused. “Preparing to get stabbed suddenly?” Most people wouldn’t see it coming, but alright.
"I've had to. Otherwise they had to evacuate the entire wing." Asani explained, sounding a bit tired.
“…Right. Maybe you should get some rest.” Harper looks around the clearing again, mainly to check Naveil and Salmook. He’s still causing problems. This is not going to end well.

"What if… what if we just end up going in a circle again? Then we'd look really marmot-ish."
Salmook… had a good point. Naveil straightened a bit, rubbing his temples. This was stressful.
He tucked his dagger back into its sheath. No need for it now that everyone's finally got the message to bugger off.
He was very much aware that at least someone was watching. Nosy. He thought for a moment before speaking.
"I don't know, alright, kid? I don't. But I do know that if we stay in this clearing, we won't get anywhere before somebody snaps."
(Nosy more like trying to keep the poor kid alive-)
