@Oakiin
"The end of the world? Care to elaborate?" Seafra called. "That's not something that people usually drop on each other without some explanation."
"The end of the world? Care to elaborate?" Seafra called. "That's not something that people usually drop on each other without some explanation."
Alex quickly looked around incase Astrid was here, but there was no sight of her and that made her worried. "Oh you know ragnarok, Gaia's awakening, doomsday with set, mythologies uniting. It shouldn't worry you for your bounty hunting business." She sneered as she took a look at the sky. Astrid was late. Here comes trouble. She thought to herself.
Vien's eyes narrowed. "Sorry, end of the world?" he called after Alex. He knew he had made a deal with the devil, at least his devil, for access to so much magic without too much bloodshed. But mythologies uniting? He wondered what Damascus would think of that
"Oh, I see," Seafra said waspishly. "So the world burns, and it only effects those directly involved. Sounds right cheery. Glad to know it's not such a big deal."
Alex saw that she had said too much. "Yeah sorry boys, my friend just got into trouble and I've said too much, I should be going now." She replied before you could hear crashing and some lightning in the distance. "Damn it." She snarled under her breath and disappeared into the night.
(You want us to come after you? Or ya got somewhere you're going with this? Just so I know :3)
( Yeah come after me, I got something in mind.)
"I vote we go after her. D-Damascus will want to know of this," Vien mumbled, squinting at Alex as she left. He flinched slightly at the sound of lightning. Lightning sometimes meant fire. He would rather not go anywhere near fire, but he knew his boss would want to hear of this
(okkii)
Seafra glanced at Vien. "Honestly, I'm, tempted to follow her. I'm a bit…concerned about this end of the world, I don't know about you."
Alex reappeared and saw Astrid pinned down by a troll and saw that there was a flying pig nearby. She crept close before attacking the troll, knocking it off balance and helped Astrid up. "For Life's Sake, couldn't you wait until the prophesized date to destroy the world." She shouted at them angrily before getting out her weapons and attacking with Astrid behind her showering thunder and lightning bolts at them.
"Come on then," Vien said, beginning to walk after Alex. "My contract s-states that I have to investigate dealings of interest w-when I come across them, which means I should p-probably be looking into this."
"And who exactly do you work for?" Seafra fell in step beside Vien, his eyes scanning the surrounding area.
"I specialize in d-dark magic and summoned two demons earlier. I'll give you t-three guesses," Vien droned sarcastically, reaching into his satchel for his knife in case they were in any real danger
Alex pressed on the battle as a storm was conjured up and thunder destroyed the ground creating fires nearby. If you looked closely, you could see glints of red flashing up in the sky. Yeah that was Alex creating her illusions. Astrid destroyed the troll with her hammer while Alex was busy slicing up the flying pig. "Hey astrid a little help with the winged bacon here." She cried out as it lifted Alex up in the air. Alex drove her spear shaft into the pig before it went ballistic and threw her off before flying away.
(Any time now guys.)
(I gtg sadly, but I'll be back on later tonight! Thank-you guys for staying with this, seriously, I am having so much fun <3 This is the first rp that's ever worked out for me and hasn't just died :3 ((We'll be right with ya, Laffette)))
"I could name three religions off the top of my head that could conform to those rules, but just out of probability, I'll go with the Devil," Seafra said.
(it's all good lol)
Vien hummed in agreement. "He's something along those lines. The devil wears a suit and t-tie, I can tell you that m-much." He wasn't supposed to give much info on his employer. Something to do with confidentiality in case the god that held his contract was discovered for something or another. He didn't particularly care, as long as he had his magic
(Back~)
"I see." Seafra jerked his head up as an especially loud crack of lightning split the air. "We'd best hurry."
He broke into a run, sprinting the rest of the way before coming to a halt at the edge of the battle scene.
Alex was panting as she leaned on her weapon, careful not to poke herself and was covered in monster dust. "Now shall we? They'll be expecting us." She said in a raspy voice before turning around and saw them. "WHAT TH HADES ARE YOU DOING HERE!" She roared at them, she gabe off a sinister red aura and red energy crackled around her. Behind her, Astrid summoned lightning bolts to her hands and electricity circled around her. "Who are they?" She growled and ignored the blodd trickling down her face.
Vien sighed. "Oh, this is definitely g-going in the report," he grumbled. He twirled his knife in his hands, smoke curling around it but not quite solidifying on the blade just yet
"Pardon for being curious," Seafra snapped. "If you're going to be this obvious with your fights, expect witnesses. That storm probably has over a hundred humans on red alert right now, especially this close to Vatican City. I wouldn't be surprised if they're flying the Pope out now!"
Alex snickered softly while Astrid bursted out laughing before speaking "The mortals wont know anything, besides its just a minor lightning storm." She replied. Alex glared at them." Now excuse us, we have to stop our deaths." She snarled before turning to Astrid. "Call Heimdall and get us put of here." She instructed.
Vien rolled his eyes. "I d-don't think so." He waved his hand, and the street lights around them flickered. "I want information. As long a-as my spell is in effect, communications won't work, magical or n-non-magical."
Seafra folded his arms. "Sounds fair. 'Let there be light to release the suffering of the ignorant' and all."
Astrid was alarmed and gave them some sparks for a warning before speaking. "i dont need to talk to him. Heimdall sees all and hes sending us there soon." She growled and rew some sparks at them. "Also why should I trust you when I dont even know who you are and well you work for him!" Alex added as they saw a rainbow light in the sky.
"Why should you not trust us?" Seafra retorted. "We're all in the same boat of secrecy, what do you think will happen?"
