Eleanor chuckled. "It's my vice… reminding myself of home, even out here…" She sighed nostalgically. "It wasn't the palace I hated. It was my mother. She made it a hell."

"I used to live in a small cozy cottage. By the sea." Sally stated "i barely remember it though. I left that place when I was 5. After my parents died."
neva came back in, naturally going to eleanor and cuddling her way onto her lap. the captain had her fuzzy blanket wrapped around her as she laid her head on her first-mates chest
Sally walked over to the bed to join them. She lay on the other side of Eleanor resting her head on her shoulder
Eleanor cradled them both lovingly and sighed. “I’m really the luckiest woman to end up with the both of you…”
"an im the unlucky one to bring us together as that was hell"
Eleanor laughed and kissed Neva softly. "Not unlucky. Just confusing."
"You think your unlucky? I didn't even realize I loved you guys until literally yesterday." Sally scoffed.
Eleanor laughed. "That isn't unlucky either. That's just ignorance, my darling," she corrected, kissing Sally's cheek.
neva chuckled, laying her blanket over them
Eleanor sighed and cradled both of her girls close. "Goodnight, my loves," she whispered.
Sally had already fallen asleep tired from her daily chores.
"night…" neva whispered
Eleanor lay awake for hours as she often did, focusing on the gentle rocking of the ship. The only difference this time was she had the most beautiful girls she'd ever seen curled against her.
neva nuzzled into Eleanor's neck, snoring softy
Occasionally Sally would mumble something like "not the purple kite" or something odd like that.
Eleanor gently kissed the top of Neva's head and chuckled quietly at Sally's little remarks. Still, even as the sun slowly began to peek over the horizon, she hadn't slept a wink.
neva woke as soon as the sun entered the cabin "mm.."
Eleanor closed her eyes quickly and pretended to be asleep so her partners wouldn't be concerned.
neva sat up, yawning and stretching. she left without thinking any of them knew
Eleanor discreetly watched her go, still holding Sally and waiting for her to wake up.
Sally didn't wake up right away but when she did she opened her eyes and groaned, quickly shutting them again. Sally was not a morning person.
neva was up and calling orders to her crew in minutes, letting sally and Eleanor sleep. " let's go! morning chores! the sail needs fixing!"
Eleanor heard Neva giving orders, and she felt a twinge of guilt that she'd been awake the entire time and was getting out of chores. "Sally, darling, we need to get up now," she cooed.
