Hawkin laughed. "Yeah. There was that. But that's ok now. You didn't kill me, and I ended up with a pretty good girlfriend…" Hawkin smiled. "We're almost at the construction site. It's going to be nice. It's a four story frame of a building, with a lot of things to flip off of."
"Sounds amazing." She giggled, putting her head on his shoulder.
Hawkin tilted his head where his head was touching hers. "Yeah. It's pretty nice. But we have to watch out for security guards…"
(let me know when it's morning)
"That's okay. I could probably outrun them, or hide somewhere. Things I'm good at." She shrugged.
Hawkin said without thinking, "Or I could just blow them up. That works too."
"Not if there were witnesses you couldn't see. I don't say this often, but better safe than sorry." Kylie pointed out, looking up at him.
Hawkin frowned. "Well ok… If you say so… Then I won't blow anybody up…"
"I'm just saying, we might get arrested if you do…and to get out, well, we might literally have to blow this town." She shrugged.
Hawkin raised his eyebrows. "That may not be an entirely bad thing… I mean…" He shrugged his shoulders.
"Everyone else is still in the motel, though. Otherwise, I'd be happy to blow it. Considering how much you hate it."
"I don't necessarily hate it, it just brings back really bad memories….." Hawkin muttered.
"Then I'd still blow it up. You know, if the others weren't in the motel. Bad memories are…well, bad. Especially when you have them. I don't like you having bad memories."
Hawkin managed a laugh. "Yeah, I don't like it when I have bad memories…" They stopped, and Hawkin was at the back of the construction site. He didn't bother to take out the bun that Kylie had put in his hair.
"Nice." Kylie grinned at the sight of it, jumping off of him.
Hawkin looked up at the structure. He looked at Kylie and smiled. "Race you to the roof!" He ran and jumped over the fence, and took off as fast as he had ever run.
"What?!?" Kylie took off, judging Hawkin's course as she went. He had to get over the unfinished section off roof…but if she ran up the ladder, she could run up the finished side, and get there first…she jumped onto the ladder's rungs three at a time, grabbing onto a handle in the gutter and swinging herself upward.
Hawkin knew Kylie was going to take the finished side. He smirked. He jumped over the unfinished sides, and jumped, and grabbed the cable that attached to the construction crane, and he began to climb it.
(Can I join? If I can, I'd like to take Ice[though I'm kind of tempted to ask for both Fire and Ice and just hi-key RP Todoroki from My Hero Academia…no joke…]. If not, that's alright too.)
(I think you two will finish up the spots…Cloud can take Ice and I guess that leaves fire for amber.)
The chimney is the goal, Kylie thought to herself, looking up to smirk at Hawkin. He could never climb it that fast, and if he did, there was a good chance he'd slip while trying to land. She sprinted across the slanted side of the roof, determined to get there first.
Hawkin shimmied up the cable at record speed. Hand over hand, he shimmied up the cable without faltering. He made it to the top, and realized that there was a slight problem. It was too far of a jump. He started swinging back and forth, making the cable swing with him so he could make the jump.
Buying me time. Kylie smirked as the chimney grew nearer.
Hawkin swung, and he was close to jumping. He saw Kylie get really close to the chimney, so he decided to pull a really dangerous prank. He jumped, and jumped early, making sure he landed on the floor below.
