"Jordan!" Natalie pushed the sweatshirt under his nose. "Come on, please?"
"Jordan!" Natalie pushed the sweatshirt under his nose. "Come on, please?"
"I've got this. C'mon." He bangs around on the counter and rips off a piece of the paper towel.
"That's going to soak through to easily," she argued.
"That's why we have an entire roll." He stuffs a chunk on his nose, breathing through his mouth and taking out the entire roll.
Natalie looked down at the bloodied sweatshirt in her hands. It takes everything in her to not cry.
"Here." He takes the sweatshirt from her and starts the sink at full force and the coldest setting
"That won't work," she whispers.
"Watch." He starts to rinse the blood from the jacket and it comes off in layers, "Since it's fresh."
Natalie looked at him. "It'sā¦" She didn't explain, just carefully replaced the paper towel.
Jordan looks back at her, "Huh?"
"Your paper towel," she said quickly.
"What about it?"
"I changed it. See?" she said, changing it again. "I told you that it would soak up too fast. You should see a doctor."
"Nah. It's fine." He waves her off, "I fall down the stairs twice a day."
Natalie's eyes widened. "Really? Do you have a balance disorder?"
"What? No. Either Jackson pushes me. Or Im just too tired to be registering anything.:
"Oh. Well, if you need anything, just let me know okay," she said firmly, putting her hand on his shoulder.
Jordan nods, shrugging and turning back to her sweatshirt
Natalie watched him over her shoulder as she went back out into the living room to get Jackson.
"I never push you." Jackson states.
"YES YOU DO! Every day!!"
"NEVER!!!"
"Just this morning!"
"When?!?!"
"THIS MORNING!"
