“Mari chirped a little, almostmlike a bird and waved at Maybelle.
"Run away? From a cute fairy?" Maybelle waved back to Mari, but couldn't understand why people would run away. Their world was full of magic, and even though this was Maybelle's first encounter with some, it was exciting and made her want to understand it. "Maybe I'm not like other people?" She laughed.
( I gtg for a bit, but I'll be back in about an hour)
Tanrial gave a breathy laugh, “I guess you aren’t. But neither am I.” Tanrial bit her lip nervously.
(Ok, I don’t know when I will next be on today, in a couple hours though)
Lloyd's shift finally ended and he left his post, replaced by another squire. He nodded respectfully before leaving, wandering aimlessly in the marketplace.
The armor was still pressing against Lloyd's wings uncomfortably, so he took off the top layer, hoping that the chainmail underneath would be enough to conceal his wings.
(Tanrial is a mage but yeah they could know each other, also Mari Is Tanrial’s companion. Ashera could meet Maybelle and Tanrial in the forest, same with Lloyd is you want to?)
Tanrial shifted uncomfortably on her feet waiting for Maybelle to reply.
(Yeah sure)
Lloyd walked into the forest. It was a calm, quiet place, and it helped him unwind when he was anxious. He went quietly through the trees, appreciating the natural silence.
(Yeah, that's a good idea :) I'll just start over with my character then)
Ashera flitted around her home in the forest, attempting to finish her spring cleaning but she kept getting distracted with the things she found that she thought she'd lost long ago.
Tanrial felt Mari hit her neck, telling her to say something, Maybelle hadn’t said anything for a minute. “Maybelle? I’m sorry if I have said anything to offend you.” Tanrial took a small step back.
The chainmail was irritating too. Lloyd decided to just take off the mail, he was alone anyways, so who cared whether his wings were visible? He stretched his wings as soon as they were free. "Much better…" He kept walking in the depths of the forest, having laid his armor on a tree stump.
Tanrial heard a noise coming form a little ways away. She turned sharply towards the direction it had come from.
Mari flitted towards it a little, looking confused, before returning to Tanrial.
Ashera flew outside her house and saw someone waking by. She squeaked and hid herself better before noticing that the person had angel wings. She flew after him and, still hovering, grew to human-size so she could be seen better before clearing her throat to get his attention. (her house is small, not human-sized just to be clear)
Lloyd was startled by the sudden noise, turning around to see where it came from. He froze in fear when he realized it was another person, and his wings were perfectly exposed. He wasn't sure what to do, and his heart pounded as he stood in silence, staring at the girl fearfully.
(Ok)
Tanrial looked at Mari and shrugged, “Come, Maybelle, if you want to.” Tanrial flipped her hood over her head, Mari flying inside like normal. Tanrial felt Maybelle move to her side and the two of them walked to where the noise was coming from.
(hey im back, sorry about the wait)
Ashera noticing his fear, spread her wings a little more to show she meant no harm before speaking. "I'm Ashera but my friends call me Ash. I'm a fairy." she told the angel proudly, holding out her hand to him and beaming.
Maybelle walked at Tanrial's side as they inspected the calm forest around them.
(That’s ok)
Tanrial, Maybelle and Mari came to a cleaning and saw a man with angel wings and another fairy standing there.
It took Lloyd a moment to unfreeze. "Um, I-I'm Lloyd. Lloyd Windsor." He bowed nervously. Whoever this was, they clearly weren't human, so perhaps he was safe.
Mari flew over to Ashera and landed on her shoulder, head tilted to get a better look st the fairy.
“Mari!” Tanrial moved over into the clearing as to try and stop her companion. She flicked her hood off, “I’m so sorry about her.”
Lloyd did so, hiding behind a large oak tree and holding his breath, hoping that whoever was there would leave quickly. But something told him that wouldn't happen.
