Mari gestured to everyone and then pointed in the direction they were meant to be going. She flew towards it, then came back and pointed again.
Mari gestured to everyone and then pointed in the direction they were meant to be going. She flew towards it, then came back and pointed again.
"Are we all here and ready to leave?"
The tiny fairy nodded and gestured to the /insert direction they're going/ again.
"Alright then, let's get moving." Lloyd looked behind him in the direction of the town before walking towards Mari. He had his bag slung over his shoulder, the strap between his wings.
//gtg now, dinner
bye
(bye :( )
Ash stayed seated on Lloyd's shoulder as he began to move, making his way towards Mari. She jumped out of the way with a squeak of surprise as he slung his bag over his shoulder, missing her by only a tiny bit, but she soon made her way back to his shoulder and sitting down.
//lmao that was over an hour ago, I'm back now
although you caught me at a bad time, just about to leave again
//nvm
"So, who knows the way? I don't really know where I'm going."
Mari shrugged and pointed at Tanrial.
“We head north, towards the mountains. From what I’ve heard, there are three tests to pass before we get there. Then after that we pass through the mountains. From there, I don’t know.”
"What kind of tests?" Lloyd seemed a bit anxious.
Arya followed secretly. She was packing already, and would protect the kiddos at all costs.
“The first one is some beast, the second, you must answer your deepest secret then last your greatest fear. Then the mountains. I don’t quite know, it’s all from legend but that’s the general idea.”
"…Does everyone have to do all of them?" Lloyd wasn't even entirely sure what his deepest secret would be. Would it be Nathaniel not being able to fly? Perhaps his family believing him to be dead?
Tanrial nodded, “Yes, otherwise the guardians will not let you pass.”
"Okay then. Let's get going I suppose." He adjusted the strap again, being careful not to crush Ash.
Mari landed on Tanrial’s shoulder and curled up.
“Yes, Let’s.” Tanrial stood up, making sure Mari was safe.
Arya followed, light on her feet. She was silent as a ghost.
As the small group began their adventure, Maybelle became curiouser about the "perfect" place. "So, how did you hear about this city?" She asked, walking next to Tanrial.
Tanrial shrugged, “I’ve always been interested in magical tales, I always went to this older woman and she told me all of the ones she knew. She said she lived there, once.”
