"Under the circumstances I think it's worth a shot he might even be able to just call in and get the footage" Mani adds internally thinking this is all an insane idea

"Good idea. Should I call him now?"
"and do you think I should tell him exactly what happened? Or should i make up a story??"
"I guess so"
Can someone give me a summary of where we are now? If so, I may join
(ya, you can join, this is a murder mystery genre, so basically, We were at a cafe and then Sage came and told us he found a dead body of a girl. We ran over there and called the police. now we are trying to solve who killed her and why. and all that stuff. My character, Ariene is just about to call her uncle, who is a retired cop, to try to get access to the security cameras) (sorry for the really bad summery, i kept it as short as possible) (make sure to add your characters info before starting)
"Ok, its worth a shot."
calls uncle
Uncle: Hello? Who is this?
Ariene: It's your niece, Ariene.
Uncle: seems annoyed Oh, it's you. Look, I'm awfully busy and all so I-
Ariene: This is important. I need access to the security cameras around the block near that café you used to go to.
Uncle: What?! Why would you need that??
Ariene: It's an emergency, a girl has just been murdered and we need to see what happened in the cameras! This is really important! Please help us get access!
Uncle hesitates I'll come, I'll be there around tomorrow afternoon. I can't sneak you guys in, but i can download everything from the cameras to my computer using a USB.
Uncle ends the call
" I-i cant believe it…., he actually agreed!" Ariene says both happily and confused.
-Ariene thinks of why he actually agreed. It was so unlike him. And so fast too. Something was off. But Ariene dismisses that thought and celebrates that this would definitely help get us closer to solving this-
"Wow, even I can't do that." Ceaser nodded impressively.
Ariene smiles, "This is great! It will give us so much information on what happened :D!"
"So what till then" Mani says finishing off his coffee
"I have no clue…."
"Assess the scene for signs of struggle, of course!!" Ceaser replied happily. "If there's even so much as a hair at the scene, we can DNA test it to find the killer."
Thats true, but the area is probably blocked from access now
And im sure there are still lots of cops there
"I still have access, you know." Ceaser pulled his wallet out of his back pocket and waved his student ID in the air. "All criminology students can claim a victim as research."
"….. oh, well then, to the crime scene!"
(brb, ill be afk for a sec)
(lol) Ceaser calmly stood and made his way back to the crime scene, showing the Police his ID and standing awkwardly while he waited on the body. If he had the body, he could hide the evidence. No evidence, no conviction. No conviction, no jail time. No jail time, more freedom. More freedom, more of a chance to make up for what he'd done.
(i have to go T^T, but ill be back tomorrow. Also, Omg plot twist!!!!!!!! O_O!!!!!!)
Quill followed Ceaser outside, and attempted to draw everyone's attention to her, taking it off of Ceaser and the lifeless girl.
Running out into the square, she climbed on top of the nearby fountain and began to dance. "Hey, everyone, look at these sick moves!" She called out. Quill, trying to keep her balance, was dancing an Irish dance. Her plan worked, however. Soon there was a crowd of people surrounding her, laughing and video taping her.
Mani snuck past the police and over to Caesar unnoticed with help of Quinn's distraction to the crime scene to help look for evidence
Sage followed Ceaser, but stopped at the police tape. He eyed him suspiciously. "What exactly do you plan on doing?" He asked.
"Take the body back to the school's lab and search it for evidence. Don't worry, I can give you all access." Ceaser smiled softly and covered the body with a white sheet. "The coroner's van should be here any minute."
