"Yeah," Taha replied, standing.
She held out her map again and imagined walking through the academy. Left, left, right, right, left, she thought.
"It should be this way," she added, pointing out their room on the map.

(Should we quote what we're responding to? Not familiar with roleplay etiquette, sorry.)
(i don't know either, just go with your gut… or i dunno, wait for someone who has a clue to answer both of us)
(I only quote it when there have been a few posts since the post I'm replying to. But you should do whaf you feel is best!)
Famine turned around a corner, and then around another and down into a straight hallway where there were multiple openings, so probably other sleeping caves, Famine thought, fumbling to open the scroll with the map they were given. "Now… which cave is mine…?"
(Beep)
(Boop)
She smiled again, taking the scroll and quickly wrote; 'Hello. My name is Sapphire. I can't speak, but I can hear you. This SeaWing is Hatchet, she is incredibly shy. Be nice to her.' Her writing was incredibly neat, despite how fast she moved her talon across the paper.
Meanwhile, Hatchet was covering her face with her wings, trying to hide despite being a purple void in the middle of the day.
Aurora read Sapphire’s message and nodded. “I understand.” She smiled. “It’s a pleasure to meet you both. My name is Aurora.” She tapped her talon on the ground a few times before speaking again. “So… why did you decide to come to the academy?”
(SORRY FOR TAKING SO LONG)
Sapphire huffed in amusement, writing again. ‘I heard Hatchet was joining, so I decided to come as well. I figured she would need a bit of company for her to feel comfortable.’ The mentioned SeaWing looked a bit embarrassed, shifting between her talons anxiously. Basically, what Sapphire was saying, was that she was Hatchet’s emotional support IceWing.
Aurora nodded again. “That’s very kind of you. Hatchet is lucky to have a friend like you.” She smiled in Hatchet’s direction. “I wanted to come here because I figured it would be good for me to meet dragons of other tribes.”

(I'M SO SORRY GUYS!! T^T)
he started walking, but tried to fall back behind taha since she looked like she knew where they were going. "sooooo… the, uh… the rainforest huh?" he winced as the words came, and couldn't help thinking about the 'awkward conversations' thing from before. if he had to be honest, the rainforest was one of the last things he wanted to talk about, but as far as he could tell, growing up there was the only thing they had in common. "monkeys, and… mangos, right?" he let out a nervous laugh, and quickly tried to avoid eye contact.

(someone needs to talk to meeeee aaaa)
(wanna meet us in the hallway? i could write it if u want?)
(Sure!)
(oki!)
dartfrog was so lost in his thoughts they accidently turned a corner without taha, and after a bit they finally realised they didn't know where they were. he turned around a few time, thoroughly confused, until he accidently whacked a sandwing with his tail. "oh sorry, you ok?… hold on… you're a hybrid too right?!" he said, suddenly very excited again. it was obvious they were some sort of sandwing hybrid, which made turn a bright yellow. "hi! wow, hybrids are so cool! you're a sandwing right?"
(sry stoopid, i'll find taha when you're back online.)

Famine jumped, and turned toward the new dragon. Famine blushed slightly from the comment about hybrids. "Oh… hi! Yes, I'm a hybrid. It's not that cool.. my father was a NightWing, and my mother was a SandWing… What's your name? I'm Famine."
he manged to dim his scales back to the normal colours, "dartfrog. nice to meet cha'. did you live in the dessert? i like being a rainwing, but i totally wish i was a sandwing like you. hey, did you say your name was famine? you wouldn't happen to be in the Zircon winglet are you?"
"No… I lived with the NightWings in the rainforest… though I did travel a lot.. Maybe that's why I haven't seen you." Famine nodded her head. "Yes, I believe I'm in the Zircon winglet. Are you?"
his scales dimmed ever so slightly, it's like he was doomed never to talk about the dessert with someone, "yeah, Zircon winglet, that's me. and i lived mostly in the dessert, so you wouldn't have seen me anyhow." he suddenly remembered he was lost and looked around again, "uh, by the way… do you know where we are?"
Famine nodded. "At least, I think so. My cave is right here." One of Their wings spread to point to a cave entrance a little ways down the hallway. "Are you looking for your cave? I bet it's close, since we are in the same Winglet. I don't think we share… but I might be wrong."
