(If Cersei can use magic, why not have her show up at the edge of the library barrier where Lorelei, Cato, and Amaris are wating for the others lol)
Cersei blinked several times before shrugging and following the group, jumping to the edge of the barrier. "Interesting place," she commented drily.
"Hello Cersei." Amaris smiled and patted the ground beside her, "care to take a seat?" She asked
Cersei raised an eyebrow and went to join the girl. "How do you know my name?" She queried.
"You introduced yourself in the forest. If you didnt then someone else probably had." Amaeis frowned, trying to remember where she heard her name
Cersei raised an eyebrow. "I didn't, but alright. At least you pronounced it right," she shrugged boredly. " So… are we going in, or…? "
"We need to wait for the rest of the group." She replied a little annoyed. "They are taking quite a long time though."
Cersei sighed. "Wonderful. And why are we required to wait for them?"
Rilla laid down on the grass, yawning. "What a long day," she remarked. "I think I've seen more today than I have my entire life."
Indigo cast her spell again once the rest of them and linked up. She teleported to Amaris rather than than the building and overheard the conversation, “Because you kind of need us.”
Maple looked at the large library several yards ahead of them. The barrier was huge, almost transparent but it the sun caused it to look a pale pink color. Eyes wide, Maple turned back to the others, “So that’s the place?”
“No, that’s Candyland,” Quentin replied sarcastically. “What do you think?”
“So how do we get in?” Lorelei asked. “I’m guessing we can’t just like, stroll in.”
"Well we can walk to the building so long as it doesnt take any magic. We wont be allowed to use magic until we get inside." She explained. "I'm guessing that we can walk up to the front doors and have them decided if they want us inside or not. I dont know how they are going to decide that but we dint really have a choice." Amaris sighed and looked at the sun as it lingered near the horizon.
Indigo watched as the sun started to go down, "Well, what are we waiting for. Let's go."
"What about the twins? Adyn and Adella? Should we just leave a message for them?" She asked
"We could leave a message," Rilla contemplated it, sitting up. "Although should we really seperate from each other? That doesn't feel right. Still, it's getting later, so…"
"Let's step.inside the barrier and wait there just to be safe." Amaris said, gesturing to the air behind her
Maple nodded, “Okay…” she looked at the darkening sky, I hope my mother is okay… she thought with a small frown upon her face.
Cato stood up and put a hand on the light barrier and put a little pressure on it. The barrier gave and molded to his body and he stepped inside.
Rilla went next, strolling inside the barrier confidently. She had to appear that way, in front of everyone. She couldn't let herself show how worried she was about all of this. She had to stay strong.
Indigo took Lilac's hand and walked through the barrier. Lilac made it through easily and Indigo went through with a bit more difficulty. She wasn't used to not having magic, and would just have to adjust to the feeling, while her sister was rapidly blinking and holding onto Indigo for dear life. Neither of them thought about how Lila wouldn't be able to see where anyone was. This was going to get complicated.
Cersei reluctantly stood up and followed suit, sliding through the barrier with a small shiver.
Adella and Adyn stepped through the barrier, well, tried. Both were rejected by it. When they tried to walk through, they ended up on their butts.
Quentin strolled through, followed by Lorelei, who looked at the twins with a confused glance.
“Why can’t you get through?” she asked.
