"ah would have thought you got enough of me when you chaced me through a sacred kitsune temple." He teased, setting the pup in his arms against one of the mother's, smiling softoy as she nudged her hand in appreciation. He pressed his forehead to hers before going back for the rest of the pups and doing the same over with kyro until all the pups were back with the females.
kyro sighed, " nah, seeing it now i could never get enough" he said and kissed sunis forehead " we all take desperate chances to get what we want.."
Suni blushed softly but gladly leaned into the affection. "Desperate huh? That's a good way to describe you actions as of now to get my attention. A good chase on the rooftops, taking a direct bullet meant for my heart, and charming my clan members all drastic measures."
" i meant trying to soak you, running through the temple like a mad man and following you back home just to get a few sheets of paper was desperate, but that works too." he chuckled and pulled suni closer
"well, desperate or not, it seemed to have worked if you're still here." He said, nuzzling into into Kyro's chest before tugging him towards forwards where a few adult kitsune were waiting.
kyro chuckled, shifting to his wolf form and giving a small bark. he trotted up to the group and sat awaiting instruction. he knew suni was the leader and hed follow suit with the others when it came to things like this.
Suni shifted as well, firey red fur gleaming in the pale moonlight. He watched with a proud grin as the rest of his clan mates did the same. All different and unique, some ghostly white, other’s pitch black, still some others a mottle of colors attributed to their abilities. Suni stood and with a flick of his tale lead the group back into the forest to begin training. He loved the forest at night. Though he knew it was the say as in the day time, he had always found it more magical at night, had always felt more of a connection with his ancestors at night, where he could catch ghostly glimpses of them among the trees or, if he was lucky, walk among them in his dream.
kyro ran beside suni, tucking his head near the others and planting small licks everynow and then. he fet freer like this. his natural instinct gave way to strong back legs and the ground levitating in small bits at his paws. everything in his body trembled with the pure enjoyment of the night like it always had.
Suni nudged kyro affectionately, snickering and barking as they wove throyght the trees to the clearing. He loved the way the wind combed through his fur, how the crisp night air brought the forest to life in a way the day time could never. He stole glances around every now and then, finding his clan mates emerging then disappearing among shadows, perfectly content with running through such dense brush. He barked a command as they came upon the clearing
kyro couldn't understand suni yet, not until he fully joined the clan but he stopped anyways.he stayed in his wolf form and sniffed the air, giving a soft growl but never a threatening one .
Once he was done explaining what they were going to do to the clan, Suni shifted and walked over to Kyro. "They wanted to do a bit more training. Are you up for bending with a few of the experienced kitsune?" He asked, nodding to two kitsune, both silvery grey.
kyro shifted as well " yeah, im sure I could go a few rounds"
Suni nodded and waved the two forwards. “This is Itsu and Kenji.” He introduced, watching as both twins shifted and gave a nod to Kyro. “Both primarily water benders.” Suni continued, nodding to the clearing as he strode off towards the center, the twins a few feet away from either side of them. Suni gave another nod, permission for both kitsune to attack him. One sent a rush of water, to Suni’s left while the other did similar and attacked his right, surrounding Suni. Suni gave a small laugh as he shifted, his fur bursting into flames and he reared then lunged at one brother, distracting him long enough for Suni to escape the wall of water but not completely unscathed. When the water dissipated, both siblings ere drenched while Suni shook of the water now dripping from his pelt huffing heavily with effort. He shifted and smiled proudly. “I want you to work with them on their element. They’re good with posing elements but with their own, they seem to have more holes in their defense.” He explained, taking a moment to catch his breath.
kyro nodded, heating his hands and drying suni out. " so, itsu and Kenji. ready?" he asked and smirked. as the men began to fight Kyros multiple elements were put to use. he switched between offense and defense. he lunged at the two with fire and earth and blocked with air and water. he knew the wound was pushing its limits but he hadn't used his magic in a bit, and this is where the numbness from abuse kicked in. he attacked just as if he was a real enemy, not a clan member going easy
Hello! I'm so sorry for ghosting for so long but I think I'm going to drop this one for now. It's nothing on you or your writing but for now I'm not as interested in the story as I once was. I also think I'm going to be dropping our other one as well for similar reasons (the fae prince and his mortal assassin) . If I'm reinterested in the future I will definately let you know because I do like Suni and kyro's dynamic quite a bit but for now I think I might this on pause.)
