“Then let’s look for her.” Carla said.

“Okay,” Matt said.

“C’mon, can you limp by yourself or do you need my shoulder?”

“Naw, I’m good,” Matt said. “Thanks tho.”

“You’re welcome,” Carla grinned, “dont fall on your face.”

Matt took a step forwards and promptly fell over.

Tod looks out from the office hallway. The voices have grown quiet. He grits his teeth and goes….left, sounds right.

“Oh my gosh,” Carla facepalmed. “Are you sure you don’t need my shoulder? It’s pretty reliable.”

“Okay, well, maybe,” Matt muttered, standing up (wobbly).

“You’re like a helpless puppy,” Carla laughed, walking to Matt.

“Yes. Its written on my birth certificate.”

“Yes of course,” Carla laughed.

Zoe managed to slip under the grasp of the man and she flipping ran for. The worst part was the she didn't know where she was going so she went by instinct. Left right. She guessed and turned until she crashed into someone she assumed was a boy.

"Oomf!" Tod holds the person who just ran into him back. They're smaller than him…a girl. He lets go of her arms and backs up. "Sorry." He looks behind her. "Uh, were you running from someone?"

"Just go go go go GO!" She urged as she pushed him into a room (The room where he was previously in.) and immediately shut the door gently. She pressed her finger against her lips signalling for him to be quiet while her back was against the door. She listened to the thundering footsteps as they passed by.

Tod's eyes widen, and he frowns at her lack of explanation, but he keeps quiet. The footsteps seem to fade, so he whispers again, close to her ear. "Who were you running from?"
