Zoe yawned as she stood there in a daze. Spacing out on the tour. Who wants to know about space anyway. She thought to herself. It was the annual high school field trip to NASA. It was nothing more then some silly things about space. I mean when will I ever need to know about this in real life.

Matt listened to the tour guide, forgetting everything he said almost immediately after he said it. My dad would’ve loved this, he thought miserably. Matt wished he could listen to music or something, at least as a distraction.

Dara jotted down notes as though her life depended on it. Her hardly intelligible scrawl in purple-pink ink already covered a full page, even though the tour had just begun. She was utterly captivated. Space had always been a favorite of hers.

Zoe wasn't looking where she was going and smacked into a boy in front of her. "Omg, I am so sorry, are you ok?" She gushed and apologized. The teacher paid no attention and so did the tour guide. She heard some people snicker and she hated it. I don't want to be here less then you do.

“Oh. Yeah, no, you’re fine,” Matt said, surprised. “It’s all good.” He returned his attention (partly) to the tour.

She sighed as she got up and kept up with the tour. Idiots, I'm surrounded by idiots, that's what. She angrily thought to herself.
