Firiko flinched a little at the sudden outburst, but didn't question it too much.

"So, are you controlling the fire itself? Are you simply manipulating it, or is there a connection? Is it a spell? Oo, are you part elemental. I've met an elemental before. She was nice. Oh! Do you have control of different things?" Alex started to ramble again.

"I'm a fiee element, at the moment I'm just manipulating the flames that already existed at the moment.

"That's awesome!" Alex smiled.
"Me, I don't have any cool powers like that. Miss Hinata said she hadn't figured out how to give us them yet."

"I was born with them… " said Firiko shyly.

"I see. Miss Hinata built me to help around the diner, but I get to go on missions like this sometimes!"

Firiko nodded, not sure what he meant by being built, but figuring he might ask later.

"It means alot to me, being able to help Miss Hinata like this," Alex explained.

Firiko nodded, "I can see that," he said.

"Well, she's basically my mom, but she doesn't want us calling her that. Makes her feel old. How old are you?" Alex asked.

"19" said Firiko, not sure how to act around the other.

"Nice. I'm three!" Alex said happily.

Firiko stared, now very confused.

Alex noticed Firiko star in, then face palmed.
"I haven't told you get, have I? I'm a robot!"

Firiko finally nodded in understanding, "That makes more sense…"

Alex smiled.
"Glad we got that out of the way."

Firiko nodded, "Uhm…" he tried to think of a new topic.

Alex scooted closer to Firiko, moving around the fire.
"Hey, wanna travel with me? Miss Hinata said it's always good to have a friend travel with you."

Firiko watched him curiously, "Uhmm… okay.. I guess…"

"Yeay!" Alex smiled, clapping his hands. He stopped, and unconsciously placed his hand next to Firiko's, unaware he had scooted this close.

Firiko watched him nervously, unsure what to make of the opther.

Alex smiled, tilting his head back.
"I enjoy this."

Firiko looked over at him curiously, not sure how to react to him.

Alex turned to Firiko.
"This is going to be fun!"
(I'm thinking it's about bedtime for Alex. What about Firiko?)
