Firiko stayed quiet, shifting carefully, ending up down on one knee, wings held up and wary, his eyes still locked on the other.

Alex grew fidgety under Firiko's gaze and looked away. He put his book down and picked up his food again, slightly nervous.
Firiko was surprised that the other didn't freak, and he studied him quietly. "You new in this area?" He asked finally.
"Yeup." Alex took a bite of his food. Thankfully, it had cooled down. It scalded his tongue, but it wasn't so bad he couldn't eat it.
"I-I'm just passing through, though."
"Me too… On the passing through bit…" he said shyly, "Uhm… Where are you headed?"
"Mount Saigo no Shi." Alex motioned in the mountains general direction. He was starting to warm up to Firiko.
"I'm Alex."
"Firiko" he said, sitting down carefully, his wings stretching out to either side of him.
"Oh! That's such a cool name!" Alex smiled.
"Really?" said Firiko, his eyes studying the other.
"Meah!" Alex said, his mouth full of beans and pork. He swallowed.
"Your wings are pretty cool too!"
Firiko blushed lightly, his wings folding in a little in embarrassment.
Alex set his can of food down. He wasn't the best at identifying emotions in other people.
"So, where are you heading?"
"Back home.. to the Primal.." he said,
(Note that the Primal is a legendary forest overrun by wild magic, and is known to be very dangerous/cursed.)
(I'm so gonna have Alex react to that.)
"Oh! You're from the Primal That'ssocoolanditexplainsthewingsIhaveafriendwhohaswingsmaybeyoushouldmeethersometimeI'msureyouguyswouldgetalong…" Alex started rambling.
Firiko blinked in surprise, listening curiously to the other's ramblings.
"YeahhernameisHinataandshe'sreallycoolbutanywaysarethestoriestrueaboutthePrimalcauseI'veheardsomenastyrumorsbutIdon'tthinkanyoneascoolasyoucouldcomefromaplaceliketherumorsdescribeI'mramblingagainaren'tI'msorryifIseemrude." Alex stopped talking, wondering what Firiko would say.
Firiko nodded, "Depends on which Rumors you've heard.." he said, a bit off guard by the other's enthusiasm.
"Well, one rumor I heard is that most of the creatures there are demons. Obviously, that isn't true. I've met demons before, and you're too sweet to be one!"
"Well… I think the most common creature there is actually Spirits… though.. not everyone can see them.." he said thoughtfully,
Alex nodded enthusiastically.
"That makes so much more sense than demons."
"Yeah, though there are a lot of other creatures too…. some that haven't even been named.."
Alex shrugged.
"That sounds pretty cool. I'm from a diner."
Firiko looked at him in curiopsity, "A diner?" he asked.
"Yeup. Miss Hinata made me." Alex sat with his legs crossed. He grabbed his shins.
"mADE.. YOU..? he asked curiously.
(Ignore the caps, I have a caps lock key that I hate and am too lazy to fix it..)
